About Me

Hello! Im Emelie, 34 year old happy girl from Sweden!

I love reading and try to finish at least one book a week—sometimes two if I've got the time. I'm into all kinds of genres, except for horror. I'm a fan of both reading and writing handwritten letters. I've actually kept a pen pal since I was a kid, and we're still going strong.

Besides all that, I'm into artsy stuff, and like to paint and do various crafting projects like scrapbooking, DIY projects at home, and a bit of knitting.

Right now, I'm at Linneaus University, studying Library and Information Science. I'm aiming to be a librarian once I graduate. Deciding to go back to school later in life is definitely one of the best moves I've made.

Some short info about me:

-Harry Potter and Starwars fan!

-LOVE Christmas and everything that has to do with it.

-I drink a lot of coffee and tea (I do not drink rooibos tea tho).

Comment: My it takes a long time for the mail to reach me. I'm happy to hear from Sweden. I have a long time friend who lives near Oslo with her Swedish husband. Both are musicians and she is a compulsive poet, sending me her work regularly. We are a peninsula and have miles of seashore -- we don't have crayfish parties but clam bakes. We love seafood of all sorts.

I really loved it and I think you have really beautiful dreams, being a librarian and being surrounded by books must be wonderful and having your own home with a vegetable garden will be great too! If I can give you some advices: you could give it a try to adopt chickens! If you have them as chicks and take care of them they'll be wonderful pets!
