I live with husband and son in a small town by lake Neuchâtel (that's in the French-speaking part of Switzerland). In my spare time, I love to cook, make things with my ten fingers and practice ice-dancing.
The Pillow Book by Peter Greenaway. Anything by Woody Allen. And I have a thing for Bollywood movies: Dil Se by Mani Ratnam, Veer-Zaara by Yash Chopra, Om Shanti Om ... Certain Wu Xiao Pan for their beautiful costumes and choreographies
I used to teach literature in French and in English, so my list of favorite books is rather long. I guess I can boil it down to the following: Gustave Flaubert, William Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, Maryse Condé, Edwidge Danticat, Toni Morrison. I'm reading a lot of African American, Caribbean, and Japanese literature. And for quick reads, anything by Fred Vargas or Arnaldur Indridasson.
Can't live without them: sewing, crochet, seedbead jewelry, mixed media art, stamps, printmaking. I love to experiment with textures using different techniques!
I'm not much of a TV addict. Currently watching Game of Thrones and True Detective on DVD.
Anything red, green,or purple, I really don't like pink and yellow (including gold).
Iceland for its beautiful landscapes, its great music (Sigur Ros), its sense of community. Japan for its contrasts, its food, its temples, and for the beauty found in even the smallest everyday object. Canada, because I lived there for a little while San Francisco for its food, its art museums, its cool ethnic neighborhoods, and the best second-hand bookstore I know.

Hi Annick, thank you for being part of the Pass and Paste#56. I received my Postcard just recently once it was all filled and returned back to me. Love your artistic contribution. Thanks again! Mary
Thank you so much for the bird/feather zine for the AMA: Intl Mystery Supply swap. The envelope and zine are much appreciated.
Happy Hallowe'en, dear Annick! How are you? I see the message before mine and I want a self=portrait pc from you! Lots of love.
Thanks for adding the fish to my water scene Collaberation 55 card. It's one of my favorites! And hand carved stamps, too. The quote is worth remembering.
Joyeux Noel!
Thanks a lot for the coloured envelopes and the used postage stamps for the TLOES Wishlist June/July!
Hi Annick, I am mailing out the stamped images for paper crafts. Hope it reaches you safely! 😃
Hello Annick! Thank you for the wonderful surprises you sent me for the April/May wishlist in TLOES group. First of all, I LOVE the letter you wrote, and the mandala you made out of stamped images made me want to try making one right away! I really appreciate you taking the time and care to go through and find lots of groups of 4 and 8 of stickers so I can work on this new sticker mandala project. The gorgeous rainbow of envelopes is fantastic, and I very much am in need of these larger sizes-- I'm looking forward to using them for my mail art. Thanks again for your kindness and generosity. I look forward to "seeing you in the mail" soon. :)
Amities, Sonia (SuMay)
