I love knitting, crochet, sewing, and various other crafts. I am also very into stickers and stationary. I was married 10-26-10 and had a daughter 9-5-11. I like crafting for my husband, for the baby and for charity. I must say we do not celebrate holidays so I do not wish to swap holiday-related items.
I'm a country girl, I love Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Craig Morgan, and others. I don't like sad songs though. I avoid things that make me cry and I turn off the radio when songs about dying come on. Some songs I DO like are:
Rain Is A Good Thing
International Harvester
Why Wait (this Rascal Flatts song reminds me of my husband and my engagment. We knew one another for almost a decade before we were married, but most of it as friends. When we decided to finally get together, he proposed in September and we said "I do" that October.
Bubba Shot the Jukebox
I'm From the Country
There are plenty of others, but the titles excape me right now. :-)
Knitting: I love knitting. I bring it with me when my husband takes me to Best Buy, and I walk up and down the aisles in plenty of stores, just knitting away. Mostly I make hats, but I do make other things as well, such as tube socks, baby mitts, etc.
Crochet: Hats, scarves. baby sweaters, the rare afghan.
Sewing: Haven't sewn much lately, but I hand pieced and quilted a quilt for my baby when I was pregnant. I like making quilt blacks.
I used to do plastic canvas, embroidery and paper craft but mostly I only do yarn work anymore. The knitting and crocheting is mostly for charity, but I make things for my family as well. Must keep my husband and daughters' heads warm!
Hmmmm....
I don't like violent. gory movies. I don't like sad movies. I like to laugh, but I don't care for the rude vulgarity that passes for "humor" in a lot of movies. Some movies I enjoy:
Father of the Bride II
I'll Be There
A Knight's Tale
Grumpy Old Men
Grumpier Old Men
Monsters Inc
And on and on. Again, titles escape me.
I used to be a huge bookworm, but I don't read as much anymore. Some books I like are:
The Host
The Blossom Street novels
I also love a good knitting or crochet pattern book.
I love writing letters. I hate sending plane envelopes. so I am very fond of stickers and things. I love notecards and pretty papers too.
I don't celebrate holidays so I do not like the cards and things that are decorated for them.
Other than that, I like most things, I get in moods where I prefer certain things. I figure most things will find use eventually.

Random Flat Envie Tag @ladyaries7 I can't wait to see what she sends. I was already tagged for one in that swap and sent it today.
I love knitting and crocheting, but I am a bot picky about what I make... I don't have a lot of patience, you see. I love making hats, they are my favorite project in either craft. I also like toy patterns; I don't make a lot of them right now, but I make some occasionally and I see that becoming a regular thing once my daughter gets older.
I like doll clothes patterns. I also LOVE baby item patterns in general.
I have never made a sweater to fit and adult, and I don't think I ever will.. I'd rather put that much time and energy into several smaller things for kids. Sometimes I make afghans, but always from blocks.
I am IN LOVE with patterns for how to do a certain stitch... I recently learned a few new knit stitches and I am currently on a new crochet stitch kick....

It was quite the variety and I loved them all. I will definitely get them moving :)
Hi, Just wondering. I am brand new here and I finished the really fast old music swap. Is there anyway I can tell that the recipient actually got my email if they don't post a rating? My email says it is sent but who knows. Thanks for any help.
