I am a wife and mother of 3. Twin Step daughters that are 31 with a combined 5 grandchildren and a boy who is a senior and planning to go into the Army after graduation.

I am a former teacher and principal. I just left the system over the summer and now work for a National Reading company. My hobbies include gardening, farming, reading and volunteering in my community and my church. My favorite holiday is Christmas.

I listen to all kinds of music. My favorites would be country, praise and worship, and Christmas music.

If I had to choose a favorite it would be George Straight.

I love to read all types of book- fiction and non-fiction. I have a secret addition that at Christmas break I usually buy myself a treat and go to Wal-Mart and buy up all of the Christmas fiction- typically romance and become a book worm over the holidays. During the year so much of what I read has to do with work that this serves as a treat to myself.

I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and any type of Christmas movie. Other favorites include Bridges of Madison County, Grease, and Pearl Harbor.

I am a Hallmark channel junkie. My favorite time of year is when Hallmark channel starts the running of 24/7 Christmas movies.

Scrapbooking used to be my passion, then I had a job that dominated all of my time and that kind of fell by the wayside, Now my interests have changed and my passion has become gardening, farming and canning the food I grow.

I love NASCAR! I usually attend at least one race a year and I am a huge Jeff Gordon fan!
