Hi! I'm Emily! I am from the greater Boston area and I am 19 years young. I really enjoy lists and I make lists of lists I need to make. My favorite color is green and I collect postcards. I have very many hobbies and I enjoy getting mail very much! I am very friendly and I enjoy the sun, although I burn terribly without proper sunblock. I love meeting new people and doing crafty things. DIY projects tend to be my favorite. I like foreign cultures and different languages, especially Japanese and Finnish. I have many goals and dreams that I hope to accomplish including being an elementary school teacher and opening an indoor skate park for people of all ages in this area. I am currently a college freshman. I love learning anything new and even learning things I've already known. I love nerdy things and I enjoy flying kites.:D

My favorite music would have to be indie and 60s/70s classic rock. Bands/Artists I am particularly found of are: The Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins, Adele, Kate Nash, The Format, The Unicorns, Brand New, Lest you Forget, Lily Allen, Coldplay, Bayside, Architecture in Helsinki, Cartel, Coheed and Cambria, Etta James, and many many others.

I particularly enjoy books about sex, drugs, drinking, and ones that make you think. I am found of Chuck Palahniuk and have read all of his work. I also enjoy the classics such as: The Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, The Glass Menagerie, The Collector, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and many of Shakespeare's work. I also really liked: The Lovely Bones, Everything is Illuminated, The Harry Potter Series, The Twilight Series, The Gossip Girl Series [addictive trash really.], Go Ask Alice, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Crank.

If I named every book that I've ever read and liked this list could go on forever ;D

The genre of movies that I enjoy the most would probably be drama or indie. My favorite actor is Edward Norton and I have really enjoyed all of his work. I will not even attempt to name any movies here but feel free to ask!

The Office, Family Guy, South Park, Summer Heights High, The Daily Show, and the Colbert Report are definitely my favorite shows.
