I am married, have two kids (aged 11 and 13) and work at a university as a researcher and lecturer. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and I also have a lot of hobbies.

I love paper and papercraft! I do coptic bookbiding, some scrapbooking and mailart. I have a few snailmail penpals. I would like more, but it is important to have some similar interests.

I love having all kinds of paper ephemera and make things out of it. I am currently working on a junk journal project from my hiking trips to different lakes.

Of other types of crafts I do knitting. Mostly Icelandic patterned sweaters.

I love to cook all kinds of food. Especially to try new things and to experiment. I love Japanese food and also to make traditional Norwegian dishes.

l drink coffee and tea everyday, can't live without it!

I love animals and nature. My favorite activities is being with my horse and my dog and going for walks in the forest. We are lucky to live so close to wonderful places to go hiking.

In the summer I enjoy Gardening (though I am not very good at it and a lot of plants die) and in winter I sometimes make mini terrariums to feel the smell of moss :)

I love to recive little surprises in the mail. Some of my favorites are tea, everything vintagelooking papergoods, like stickers, old bookpages and so on, recepies for cooking, cards and things I can use for my junk journal projects.

I also like to receive something local from the senders country and to learn about other cultures and places.

I don't like Disney a lot, but I love everything from studio Ghibli and the Moomins.
