i'm zoie, a reluctant resident of the dark and romantic south. i am sad and often sleepy; a lover of lovely. i spend most of my time trying to grasp at wispy moments of nostalgia. i'm such a sentimental little thing.

i like poets who are scientists and scientists who are poets. i like to make things with my hands and tend to little details. i like the oxford comma. i do not like capital letters.

• i like almost anything. i am not picky. my tumblr has a lot of examples of things i find appealing and it's really varied.

• i know i mentioned medieval religious art but i am not a religious person - i just appreciate that period in art and find something about christianity and catholicism during that time really interesting and aesthetically pleasing. so while i appreciate the gesture, i am not interested in receiving any modern religious items like small bibles, cards with bible verses, crosses, etc.
• for any candy swaps, please avoid sending me chocolate during high summer. i live in the south and it will melt.
