hello :]
My name is Rena. I grew up in California, but moved to Japan for college...and still havent found a reason to leave :]
....Yes, I speak both English and Japanese as my "mother tongue" :]
I love writing in cursive, cool summer nights, making my own clothes, passion fruit, stationary, playing around with watercolor, and creating things. Ive just moved to a PERFECT apartment which happens to be monotone (grey floors and black doors) so I'm currently obsessing over DIYing furniture to make this comfy home an even more adorable one!
doodling, journaling, scrapbooking, DIYing furniture, painting (mainly watercolor), sewing, and embroiderying!
anything crafty sounds good to me :]
TEA :] who doesnt love tea? unfortunately i cant drink some herbal teas... but I LOVE all black teas!
passionfruit. I dont know why-but I love it. I have two types of passionfruit juice in my fridge right now.... and im on the lookout for passionfruit black tea thats not sold only in bulk. grrr
black and white. Monotone makes me happy :] sometimes I add in some red, but I love me some grays whites and blacks!
I love "grandpa" tones as well. browns, olive green, dusty rose... basically antique and muted tones. you wont catch me in neon- everything I own is very.... calm. for lack of better wording
nature. flowers. greens. People joke that Id thrive in a cabin in a forest, and I agree. haha currently trying to fill my apartment with succulents and other greens!
stationary. stickers, envelopes, washi tape, pens... I make it a point to avoid the stationary corner in stores sometimes just to give my wallet a break. but have you seen stationary shops in Japan?? everything is amazing its sometimes even overwhelming. haha
vintage things. if I were allowed to live in an antique shop, I probably would. granted I get to DIY everything there :] I love love love anrique, old fashioned stuff. old photos, stamps, envelopes wrapped in string... I just love it
POSTING:
I live in Japan. This means that I am 16 hours ahead of the swap bot time, making me living in "the next day" a lot of the time. (It's January 1st? nope- the 2nd for me)
I promise to send by the deadline in swap bot time. Confusing I know- I try to send my packages off in advanced to not worry about this, but if you are a post time checker person- spare me! I live in an island in the future :]
RATING:
I promise to rate as soon as I recieve my package. Yet, please know that since international packages are a pain in the butt and like to travel the world just for kicks, it might take a worrying amount of time for your lovely package to get to me. I know that I worry a lot about my packages safely arriving, so I hope to calm your worries as fast as I possibly can.
Thanks for reading :]
I hope you can rate me as promptly and as fairly as I promise to do for everyone!
