A little about me: I enjoy my job which gives me the freedom to be outdoors a lot, and in my spare time I enjoy bike riding, snowshoeing, fishing, socializing with friends and going to concerts, playing the guitar, and knitting!

Things that I like:

-Vvinyl LPs. I love classic rock bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, overlapping into anything 70's in general ex. ABBA, KC and the Sunshine Band. I also love and collect classic country albums.

-Live concerts, I like to see bands from across Canada, ex. Wintersleep, Corb Lund, Luke Doucet.

-Knitting, new patterns or suggestions are most welcome :)

-Photography on a hobby level, I mostly take pictures of places I visit while I'm on the road for my job (which happens alot!) or of places I visit when I am hiking or exploring! I have a growing collection of plant photographs as well.

-Pressing and preserving plants; a big part of my job is identifying plants! This process helps me learn and stay on top of scientific names of plants. I also like pressing for fun, as well!

-Speaking of that my job is in Environmental Science so I enjoy wildlife and plant identification, exploring new landscapes, and studying the effect of industrial activities on the environment. However, I do not have extremist views (Either pro- or anti- industrial)

-I am planning a trip to Europe this spring (Germany and Scandinavian countries) so I am interested in ideas, experiences, photos, postcards, from these areas! Definitely open to outside of this area, as well!

-It would be great to hear from other Canadians as well, I love Canada and getting to know our vast country :)
