A girl (well, I always see myself as a precocious 7 year old) who lives in Malaysia (for those who doesn't know, it's between Thailand and Singapore)..people who know me will say that I'm a reserved person,but once they get to know me, I'm a fireball !

I am a technical education instructor at a local university in Johor, the most southern state in Malaysia, about 3 hours away from Kuala Lumpur. I teach communication and technical writing. My students are mostly young adult learners fresh from high schools.

I love to get to know new people, especially from out of Malaysia as I also love getting to know new cultures!

• My main hobby has always been drawing..but I'm not that talented, as I would only know how to draw female forms/anatomy, you can check my deviantart link to see how amateurish they are. Since becoming a fulltime educator, I never have the time to draw anything, so I kinda miss that.

• I can proudly say that I'm a nipponphile..I love anything that hails from Japan. One thing that I'm very fascinated with is Japanese street fashion, and I would fuse that in my drawings.

• I also love reading..cannot go to bed without at least reading something. I read mostly non fiction books and I collect books on real crimes, history and autobiographies.

-Since I love drawing, naturally I love comics as well, I have a collection of comics & mangas at home, and I needed a new bookcase to fill in more books!

• I love reading Asian themed novels. My favourite author is Haruki Murakami. My favourite novel is the Wind up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami and my favourite non fiction book is In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.

• I love photography, and I prefer to take portraits instead of scenery. I don't own a DSLR yet, but I'm fiddling with my dad's DSLR and pretending that it's mine lol

• I have a very deep fascination towards anything and everything that hails from Japan (did I mention that previously?)

• I listen to japanese/korean music and love watching animes, reading mangas and buying Japanese fashion magazines I know I can't read!!!

• I love cute cute kawaii things, yet I'm also into something dark and gothic (i know, weird combo..).. I always want to be surrounded with cute cute things, therefore I love cute things, the more colourful the better!!

• Among kawaii brands I love : sentimental circus, rilakkuma, mamegoma,Kutsushita Nyanko, Nyan Nyan Nyanko, Nyanpuku..wait, I LOVE ALL SAN X BRANDS! it is difficult to buy these brands here as I either have to travel to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur to get them..I don't prefer to buy them online as I'm the see, touch, feel kind of buyer lol

• I'm also fascinated with Sanrio brands like Hello kitty, my melody, little twin stars and the likes (I blame this on my two nieces who are obsessed with hello kitty lol)..Currently I am obsessed with Gudetama!

• I love bright sunny colours especially pink,purple,blue, turqoise and yellow...my favourite colour combo are pink and black :)

• I also have a very deep interest with miniatures especially food and furniture miniatures like re-ments! I've been dying to buy them but most of the time I'm penniless lol

• Of recent times, I'm also fascinated with blind bags and boxes but have not been able to get my hands on them yet as again, I'm mostly penniless. They're also difficult to find in Malaysia, making them expensive as hell.

• I hate hate hate cockroaches, worms,any creepy crawlies that can crawl into my body, I just...ugh...and frogs! (although I don't mind if it's in a cute cartoony version, just the real ones I hate)...

• I am NOT INTO TWEEN STUFFS LIKE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL,HANNAH MONTANA,ONE DIRECTION OR JUSTIN BIEBER.

• Colour-wise I hate dull colours, earth colors like brown,grey or dull army green.

• oh and please don't send me anything religion themed as I won't know what to do with them..

• My family LOVES CATS!!

Growing up,our residence was known in the neighborhood as a 'petting zoo' at one time cos we had like 16 cats, 20 chickens and an aquarium full of goldfish! (before you say anything, we're not pet hoarders as all of our pets were all taken care extremely well and are raised in a large and comfortable environment) ..but those days have passed as my parents are getting older, I don't want to trouble them as I live away from them nowadays.

• I have a yellow tabby named Nemo that live with me but is now staying with my parents as he refused to follow me back to my place after I left him under their care lol

  • I recently got two tabby cats from my friend who I named Django and Jiro and they're the naughtiest pair of cats I have ever taken care of! But I loooove them!

  • I cannot touch anything that have dogs or pig's elements, like pig's skin or saliva, all due to religious beliefs.

• I love to cook & bake for my family & friends..I see it as a form of self satisfaction to be able to feed people good food..but I'm no Julia Child or Nigella Lawson!

• I collect recipe books, especially on western dishes.

• I collect kitchen and baking utensils like jelly molds, cupcake liners,cookie cutters, icing tips, spatulas, baking trays, anything to do with baking I will collect!

• I have a sweet tooth, and my fridge is usually filled with sweets & chocolates..I love to try out sweets & chocolates from around the world! Don't worry cos I always watch my sugar intake and eat them sparingly :) Most of the time I'll share them with my friends or colleagues

• I drink tea..A LOT. I drink them all ! when I joined swap bot, I was sooo happy to be able to taste different teas from other countries!

• two things of concern if u want to send me food items : I don't consume alcohol & pork/animal based gelatine due to my religion.

• I don't have any allergies to any food items & not a picky eater as I love to taste new flavours!

• I can't consume alcohol..however, products which contains small units of alcohol in perfumes or cosmetics are alright for me to use..just not in my food/beverage.

I collect almost everything (which scares me cos I could be a potential hoarder!!) Here are some of them:

• Currently I collect blind bags/gashapon toys but here in Malaysia they're pretty expensive and hard to find so I would appreciate if anyone wants to send them to me :) My current blind boxes obsession are Shopkins and Happy places!

• I collect barbies as well as barbie clothes, basically for fashion/drawing inspiration. Most of my collection are of modern dolls and clothes, very little vintage.

-Please wrap the items that are perishable properly (food, papers) as sometimes your stuff could be damaged due to the weather. (in Malaysia, we only have two kinds of weather : scorching hot day or depressing showers). Most of the time chocolates survived but there's an instance where one of my swap partners whose greeting cards got soaked from the rain during postage.
