hi! i'm a total newbie to this, but i'm really excited to get in on the swapping. i'm a special education teacher who just moved to iowa from brooklyn, ny so i'm going through a bit of culture shock. i love to craft, cook, read and listen to music.

sewing and gocco are my two favorite crafts. i love working with vintage fabric. i am currently working on a couple tote bags and trying to figure out how to make a clutch that i would actually carry!

i love the shins, midlake, the white stripes, the fruit bats, and a million other bands.

i love to watch the wire, grey's anatomy, sex and the city, and most HGTV and Food Network shows.

right now i'm reading my life in france by julia child, and i'm fixing to read gilead next. i love anything roald dahl--both kids and adult short stories. i love the japanese zakka crafting books when i can get my hands on them.
