Hi! My name is Elissa (or Lis) and I am 43 years old. I'm blessed to be married to my wonderfully geeky, funny husband for 15 years. We have two amazing daughters (both teens) and one silly dog (who thinks he is human).

As you can tell by my screen name, I am crazy for Doctor Who. David Tennant (10) is my favorite, but I really love all the Doctors. The show is my current favorite thing. I only wish I would have gotten into earlier!

I'm also a huge Disney fan - I even did my internship with their College Program one summer (many, many years ago). My husband and kids share my Disney passion and we go to Disney World as often as we can. It is definitely our "home away from home."

I'm a big "fangirl." When I like something - I go crazy for it! Especially geeky, nerdy, dorky and sci-fi stuff!

I have a smoke-free home, but have a dog who sheds. I do my best to make sure that dog hair isn't an extra treat in the swaps I send! :)

• just started getting into art journals. I love using inspirational quotes in my work.

• I love music. Especially Christian music (Jeremy Camp is my favorite). I also love P!nk, One Republic, Skillet, Casting Crowns, Daughtry, Lady Antebellum, Brandon Heath

• I love lots of TV (Doctor Who is my all-time favorite, but I also love NCIS, ALIAS, Firefly, Fringe, Big Bang Theory and a ton more). Netflix has been great to get me hooked on lots of shows!

• I love fantasy and sci-fi. Books, movies, TV. Anything! (like Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, The Hollows series by Kim Harrison, Avengers, Star Trek, etc.)

• I love travelling, though I don't get to go much. (I love anything related to England. Plus Paris, Wales, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, China, Venice...)

• I love Disney. Anything Disney.

• Collecting (Disney's Goofy, other Disney stuff, travel ephemera, snowmen, Doctor Who)

• I love animals. My favorites are dogs, any type of ape, giraffes, cats, lions, and elephants.!

• my favorite colors are sage green, pinks (no neon), blues (TARDIS blue!), brown (kraft especially), dark red, pale yellow

• smoking/drugs

• cruelty/hate/bullying

• animal abuse

• political stuff

• homophobia

• overly flowery scents (I'm allergic to lilies)

• overly violent movies/images

• snakes, bugs/insects (even their image - shudder!)

• anti Christian messages (I respect everyone's beliefs, so please respect mine)

I'm a big reader and love all kinds of genres. My favorites, however, are fantasy/sci-fi and historical fiction. I have far too many books on my shelf that I need to read. Escaping into a book is one of my favorite things to do.
