First and foremost I find myself away from here for long periods of time sometimes because life gets too busy for me. I do apologize but I never abandon a swap. There are just large chunks of time where I don't do any crafting at all. That makes me a sucky group admin, sorry.

I'm 47, married, have 3 little dogs and I'm an animal and bug lover. All my house plants have some sort of bug or animal decoration hanging off or sticking out of them ;) My favorite animated movie is Nightmare Before Christmas and my favorite "character" is Zero the little white ghost dog (probably because I have an all white jack russell terrier). I also love and collect dragonflies. I have a bathroom decorated with them. I also love beach themed things. I have another bathroom decorated in shells and beachy stuff :)

Confession: As much as I love making swaps, I am a terrible procrastinator when it comes to mailing it. I always want to get it out early for my partner but printing up the address, finding the right packaging materials and getting it all together is so tedious. Sorry partners, I am trying to get better!

I spend way too much time on Pinterest and just love how information about everything I could possibly ever want to learn is organized and stored in one, amazing place!

I'm a freak for the holidays. I absolutely cannot wait for Halloween, Valentine's day (love hearts) and Christmas and I love to decorate my house for each holiday. I wish I could be about 12 years old for Halloween so I could go trick or treating and run around the neighborhood with the other kids like a total candy spaz.

I love hand making things and love to make gifts and spoil friends and family. The great thing about this site is finding other like minded people who love to give and receive! I'm big into beading but also enjoy rubber stamping, card making, cross stitching, crocheting, baking especially around Christmas and making things with polymer clay. I can't sew anything more than basic stuff so would love to receive sewn items - a bag, an apron, etc. I also can't knit, would flip out over a knitted and felted bag.

I love jewelry. I wear a lot of pendants, bracelets and rings - a lot are handmade and beaded. I just love that unique, original look of handmade things. I'm addicted to making beaded leather wrapped bracelets so am always on the look out for pretty and unusual shaped buttons for clasps as well as leather cording and cool focal beads.

As far as a wish list:

• Like I said unusual buttons, focal beads, pretty colored twins, super duos, tilas and size 6 and 8 seed beads. I don't mind at all if they are not "new in package" if you want to recycle something that isn't your taste.

• I also don't mind pre-owned bead (and craft) magazines especially Beadwork.

• Any jewelry making supplies.

• Tuff Cord, dying to try it for leather wraps.

• I'm a lefty so anything lefty specific.

• Card making/ paper craft supplies such as brads, grommets, eyelets, washi tape, die cuts, things to help me get started with ATCs (new to making them).

• Candy/chocolate especially international or local to you. Favorite flavors are cherry, cinnamon, anything sour, pickles and anything pickled, anything unusual, I'll try it! and of course chocolate. I lived in Scotland for 4 years and LOVED Jaffa cakes which are like an orange gummy/jelly center covered in chocolate which is weird because I seriously dislike orange flavoring but these are like real orange flavor and not so much candy flavored.

I love deep colors as opposed to pastels. Purple is my favorite.

Things that aren't "me": religious items, key chains, baby/kid items (my step kids are grown), notepads/notebooks (my handwriting is hideous and I type everything up)... if it's pretty or funky (as opposed to cutesy) I will love it.

Lastly, I am very open to private swaps. I have a huge amount of rubber stamps many of which are awesome Stampin' Up sets that I just don't use. I also have so much cross stitch stuff (charts, kits, fabrics, specialty flosses, etc etc) that it would take 2 life times to finish it all and I haven't touched any of it in years. I would be interested in swapping for similar quality beads or fabric swatches for Teesha Moore inspired patches.

I like top 40 stuff, adult alternative, etc.

I'm a huge Stephen King fan. I've read almost everything he's written. I'll read just about anything except for spy stories. I just don't have the patience for all the double and triple agent stuff!

I love movies especially going to the theater to see them with extremely buttered popcorn mmmm. My all time favorite movie is Say Anything (hey, I'm a girl of the 80s) but my friends always know they can get me to see anything LOL.

I love sci fi and reality TV. I never miss Walking Dead, The Strain, Big Brother, Survivor, Amazing Race, Greys Anatomy, Dancing With The Stars, Bachelor, etc!
