My name is Emma; I'm a 23 year old girl currently living with her boyfriend Adam in Barnsley.

I love cooking and baking, and am recently starting to get into bento making, which I'm obsessed with looking at all the cute things online for!

I'm also really into growing my own fruits and vegetables at the moment, and I'm always looking for rare and unusual things to grow (yellow carrots anyone?!)

I'd like to better at crafts, unfortunately at the moment I'm still only a beginner! My next craft project will be knitting a blanket for winter, so any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I know I have a lot of 1's on my profile from last year, and I wanted to take the opportunity to explain them in the hopes that I won't get banned from all the swaps.

Last year, I was taking part in a lot of swaps for things like snacks or gifts or other similar items, swaps which costed more than just your usual letters or similar. I was sending loads of stuff out, and not getting anything back.

All the swaps that I have received 1's for are the swaps which I myself got scammed on. I was spending a lot of money trying to take the time to send out really lovely swaps for my partners (as all my hearts will prove), and getting absolutely nothing back in return. The swaps that I flaked on are all swaps that I myself got flaked on too.

I now realise that maybe this wasn't the best way to go about it, that I should have fulflilled my obligations to the swaps I had already signed up for before flaking on other people who end up feeling just like I did when I got flaked on.

I am now slowly but surely trying to put this right, by contacting the people that I flaked on and sending my ends of the swaps that I didn't before. If you are one of these people, please know that if I haven't already I will message you when I can afford to send a package out to you.

And to all the people that I did flake on, I want to say that I'm sorry, and I hope that by flaking on my swap with you I know I was letting you down, and I hope I didn't cause you to lose faith in swap-bot like other scammers did to me.

I've learnt my lesson, and from now on will just be signing up to cheaper swaps, for things like letters and papercrafts etc. That way if I did end up getting scammed again, it wouldn't be as much of a problem.
