I am the artsy/craftsy type. You name a craft, I have tried it. My favorites to do right now are sewing, dollmaking and stuffies, and mixed media (ATC). I am an art teacher. In the past, my group brings art lessons to the public and private schools in our local elementary schools.
I am also involved in a cloth-dollmaking club. I have been involved in the club for over ten years and love it. I believe that dolls should be played with and not just on display. I have made a little of both kinds-sculpted with wire/clay and cloth softies. Theme driven gets me motivated and inspired. I grew up as a Valley Girl and I LOVE L.A.! I am a crazy collector of craft and art books. ARt and hobby magazines too. I'm a new fan of The UK magazine- MollieMakes.and the US magazine-Cloth Paper Scissors.

Sewing, papercrafts, dollmaking, costume making, and embroidery. I love felt! Sewing with this is the best. Felt is also a great receiver of embellishments (beads, sequins etc)...and no raw edges. I have picked up my crochet hooks again and trying Amigurumi. New for ‘22 Cross Stitch! And Procreate for IPad.

What I like past and present... Masterpiece Classic, Masterpiece Mystery ( love the winky skull)UPDATE: Netflix has a few fantastic series that are from Spain(Velvet and Gran Hotel and the Time In-between) and Korean Dramas. Now I have found two app channels for K and C dramas. I am hooked! VIKI is the place to watch all K-drama, J- Drama, and C-drama.

rock and roll, dance, and I love to listen to the Arena Rock on iTunes station. I am a new fan of KPOP. Still love my rock and roll...Winger ,Tesla, KISS, Damn Yankees, Cinderella etc my favorite K pop bands are The Rose and Day 6. Fantastic voices in both groups. I like the dancing ones too. I am learning Ukelele.

I'm not into swapping foodstuffs, teas, candles etc. I like these things and I'm not allergic but I just dont need it. I don't usually join swaps that involve these items anyway...

Purples, pinks, greens, orange, and turquoise. Frida and Dia de los Muertos theme. Marie Antoinette and Paris themes. Paper Dolls and Paper puppets. Steampunk is cool and hamsters are fun! :-) Flamingos!

I’m afraid I am not as involved in Swap-bot as much as I used to. I still check once in awhile. Lost my husband suddenly and I am dealing with a few other things( kidney stones). I am still around!
