UPDATE: I have changed my address as of December 10, 2014. It should appear as a Tennessee, USA address. I will have mail forwarded to this address for any postcards that have not arrived yet (but I think they're all here). Thank you!
Hi there! My name's Jenny.
My whole life I have gone by Jenny, and I totally despise being called Jen/Jenn. It's a big NO-NO! I'm a 28-year-old Florida Native. I graduated from Florida State University in April 2008 with a BA in both Anthropology and Classical Civilizations (ancient Greece and Rome). I now live in North Carolina, USA and am working as a test grader.
I am also an independent consultant with Thirty-One Gifts. Thirty-One makes wonderful purses, totes, thermals, travel gear, pet accessories, stationery, and tools for home organization. If you'd like to place an order or host an online party, please don't hesitate to message me.
I live with my wonderful boyfriend of 2 years. I'm interested in lots of things, love to make things, love getting mail, love meeting new people. I have a 30 gal fish tank with several aquatic buddies in it right now. I wish more than anything I could have a cat, but my man is deathly allergic, on top of his asthma.
My Swapping Habits:
I am really good about sending swaps on time and sending quality swaps. That's what counts with me. I almost always go above and beyond in my swaps, so I'd really appreciate a heart rating from you when I do so. I reuse packaging, so if you get a recycled envelope from me, it's not because I don't care enough to send you new ones. In fact, I care so much about you, that I want to decrease the waste I put on the planet you live on. I often spruce up these reused envelopes so they are something new again. Hope you don't mind! I appreciate you rating me when you receive my swaps, and if you ever have a question, comment, or concern about something I have sent you, or something you think I didn't send you, please just email me and ask. It is no problem at all. If you genuinely did not get something from me, I will do my best to re-send.
I LOVE postcards! I collect them and have a ton of them. I only collect storebought postcards, NOT handmade ones., and I'm really not wild about ad cards either. I really love touristy postcards from places you've been. I love map postcards, courthouses, monuments, statues, museums, native flora and fauna, bridges, forests, lighthouses, natural formations, rocks/gems, roadside attractions, hotels, motels, restaurants you ate at, etc. I also like pretty art cards, or kitchy, funny cards including postcards from Pomegranate or Chronicle books, ones with cartoon or comic book characters, paintings, illustrations (especially children's book illustrations), fairies, pets, holidays, etc. I like pretty much all postcards, so long as they're not handmade ones, k? ;-)
I love books. I think books are so super important. I grew up with books books books everywhere you look. Both my parents read to me every night since as long as I can remember. My grandparents read to me when I spent days at their homes. And sometimes when I'm sick or feeling sad, I have my boyfriend read to me to make me feel better. My aunts all have more books than you can imagine and I can remember when my aunt Cathy would come down to visit us, she would bring with her a big tote bag stuffed full of picture books she'd checked out of her library just to share with me and my sister. I still have a soft spot for these children's picture books and have continued to collect them throughout the years. I have tons of books! A library discarded book sale is a glorious and dangerous thing! Picture books make everything seem so REAL, and especially when you're a kid. Reading some of these books again now, I can remember the images seeming larger than life back then, like I could climb inside them and look around, and I still cherish that.

I actually love the peach from South Carolina - I would have thought it came from Georgia as well. I think the water tank was in an episode of House of Cards (and depicted as being from GA)!!!
I didn't get into the kawaii loop until two years ago - our collections are completely different! Would you like to do a private swap?
Thank you so much for the large memo from the KSUSA Large memo tag! What a great variety!
Just a heads up, I edited the requirements of this swap so that vintage cards are NOT allowed. Sorry for any confusion!
Good to see you at least logged on :) I hope you're ok!!
Thinking of you and hope you're doing well! I miss seeing you in my mailbox :)
Thank you for the lovely book from the HAW tag! I am sure my daughter will like it a lot!
Thanks SO much for sending my Golden Gate Bridge card back to me! That doggie carnival sounds like a lot of fun :)
Just dropped by to say that I like your profie. :)
