hi there! here are some self-fragments: i am vegan. i am trans*. i am an anarcha-feminist. i don't want chaos; i want the beauty and humanity that comes with starting over and creating something sustainable this time. i believe in people and our potential for extraordinary things. "punk rock music saved my life; i can sing it honestly." i go to a tiny liberal arts school in new england. i want to be a mathematician. i used to be anorexic and very self-destructive in general. i found out there was hope. rimbaud has been my favorite poet since i was twelve. i always look people in the eyes. i am really shy. i think i am kind cool a little bit sometimes?? that may just be because i have all the same interests as myself.
ramshackle glory; crass; mischief brew; the mountain goats; evan greer; wingnut dishwashers union; bomb the music industry!; the world/inferno friendship society; defiance, ohio; blackbird raum; gogol bordello
so you don't have you read a bunch more (and also because i am lazy), in general i like: folk/gypsy/circus/pirate/peace/crust/cabaret punk, most things involving washboards, banjos, tinny horns, accordions, and/or lots of yelling, and old folk songs about the government.
everything kurt vonnegut, emma goldman, arthur rimbaud, and carl sagan ever wrote. also:
black hole - charles burns; the sandman series - neil gaiman; persepolis - marjane satrapi; the tao of pooh & the te of piglet - benjamin hoff; the elegant universe - brian greene; le petit prince - antoine de saint-exupรยฉry; the brothers karamazov & crime and punishment & notes from the underground & the idiot - fyodor dostoevsky; a portrait of the artist as a young man & ulysses - james joyce; lolita & pale fire - vladimir nabokov; siddhartha - hermann hesse
blah blah, words!
american beauty; amรยฉlie; the science of sleep; 2001: a space odyssey; harold & maude; i'm not there; eraserhead; blue velvet; donnie darko; eternal sunshine of the spotless mind; earthlings

i'm not very picky but here are some things i especially like: - ZINES! - patches - tea - trinkets - old paper (pages from books, maps, whatever) - pretty much anything handmade - stationary - weird things - things with stories behind them (the actual story would be a bonus!) - stickers - anything cat-related
i'm vegan, so if you're sending food i'd really appreciate it if it's animal/animal product-free. if that's not possible though i can always share it with non-vegan friends! in addition to that, i don't wear/use leather, wool, fur, etc. my school has this weird thing where we're not allowed to have candles/incense or we'll get fined, so none of that please
