Hello New Friends!! My name is Kathy and I live in Missouri. I am in my forties and have two children. Two boys to be exact; ages of 22 and 10. I love owls, deer, and moose. I am new to swap-bot and am excited about sending and receiving mail. I love to go to the mailbox and find something besides bills and junk mail.

I have two furry friends in my home; Auggie (a orange tabby) and Fox (a Maine Coon). I like dogs as well but do not have the time for one in my life. I do not enjoy animals of the scaled variety; snakes, lizards, etc. I also am not a big fan of bugs. In fact, both of my chidren are greatly afraid of spiders.

One thing I would love to do is travel more. I would love to go to Europe as I have never been. The only time I have been out of my own country is when I travelled to Mexico. I have yet to travel to all of the fifty states, but it is a goal of mine to travel to all of them one day. The one state which is my ultimate goal is Alaska. I have always wanted to go there due to my love of the TV series, Northern Exposure.

I love all crafts. I can spend hours at Etsy looking at all the beautiful craft art. I do not know how to knit or crochet but would love to learn how. I am a scrapbooker and love paper crafts. I collect all kinds of papers, stationary and stickers. I also love to doodle and I am getting better at it the more I challenge myself to participate in the artier swaps. I also like to create with Polymer Clay.

I love photography as well. In high school I wanted to be a photojournalist, but life did not follow that road. I still have the photography bug however and I love to take pictures of friends and family.

I like all kinds of music. I have very eclectic taste. I like to listen to classical and new age when I want to relax. When I need a pick me up I like to listen to old 80s music (especially Prince). I like some of the newer groups I hear on the radio as well but am not always sure who sings what. My kids try to keep me informed on things but I usually forget anyway.
