I live in Virginia now, but grew up in New Jersey. I moved to Virginia so I can take care of my 6 year old granddaughter and 11 month old grandson so their parents can work. My eldest (daughter) lives in California. She is an optician and my son is in the Virginia State Police Academy.

I love knitting, sewing, quilting, reading. I dabble in Counted Cross Stitch, crochet and beading. I also do red work (a type of embroidery).

My favorite color is blue and I love anything with a cat on it. Because of quilting, I now collect Fat Quarters (special squares of quilt fabric) and I have quite a collection. I love going thru all my fabrics when I made toys for my grandchildren, or do any fabric crafting.
