I live in Maine with my husband and three children; 18, 16 and 14. I've been here for 20 years but grew up in New Jersey and am still a Jersey girl at heart! I work in the fitness industry teaching fitness as a director for a local gym and also teach at a college and a country club. I have always been somewhat crafty and just love the idea of swapping crafts with other people. I don't find the time to do it much for myself so this is perfect!

My favorite things to do are : painting pots, crafting wooden items and am dabbling in mosaic tiling. Someday I want to try stained glass.

For the trick or treat swap I would LOVE to get something along the lines of vintage Halloween decorations. I have had a Halloween party for the last 12 years and one of my favorite parts of it other than the costumes is decorating for it! You can never have enough decorations. I do like things that are different and unusual. Homemade things are great! I don't really want any candy - it's just a temptation that I don''t need!

One of my favorite things to do is to go to flea markets, yard sales, antique stores, etc. The best part about it is the discovery of some really great find. As they say, one man's junk is another man's treasure! You never know what you will find. I like vintage anything - old prints, crate labels, milk glass, advertising tins (I have hundreds, but you can NEVER have enough!)and antique furniture. You would be amazed what a little TLC can do for a rundown piece of furniture.
