Hi, you were looking for ways to get your ratings up quickly. I would suggest that the first thing you do is fill out your profile, because most swaps even if they are open to newbies stipulate "newbies with a well-filled-out profile".
Go round the site looking at other people's to get an idea - just click on a bunch of usernames.
