Hello, there! I'm Tálita, a 31 years old girl from the south of Brazil. I live with my fiancee by the beach, we have three dogs and three cats. I love animals.

I'm a Psychologist and am working at the social care area. It's really interesting and I love my work!

I like all sorts of mail, from single postcards to heavy letters and packages. I collect many things, but my most active collections at the moment are postcards, bookmarks, stationary and stickers.

I'm also into the victorian era, the middle ages, pets, journals, psychology, criminology, video games, magical creatures, dinosaurs, etc... I like keychains too, pencils, pens, papers, rubber stamps, envelopes and stationary in general (Pucca, yay!). Scarves and bracelets are welcome too!

I love when people send me Johnny Depp or Marlene Dietrich stuff. They're my favorite itens to get. :)

I love music! Rock and roll, Broadway musicals, indie, a bit of pop, folk, MPB, Brazilian 80's rock bands, jazz and classical.

My favorite bands are Heart, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Barenaked Ladies, Ani DiFranco, Madonna, Indigo Girls, Titãs, Paralamas, Matt Costa, Feist, Adele and Frank Sinatra.

Oh yes, books please! Fried Green Tomatoes, Harry Potter, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Agatha Christie, Harlan Coben, Terry Moore, Tess Gerritsen, Fingersmith and Cressida Cowell. I also love reading biographies, journals and romances based on the 19th century.

I don't watch much TV usually, but I like to follow some occasional shows like Orange is the New Black and The 100. I'm a true fan of Xena, Buffy and X Files.

I adore anything with Johnny Depp. I've been a fan since 1996 (I was 12). So, any movie with him on it, I'll watch!

I also looooove Marlene Dietrich. She's my idol and someone I look up to. Really. :)

Apart from the fangirlisms, I'm into musicals, adventure, action and movies like Mulholland Drive and Donnie Darko. I also love Disney and some shamefull blockbusters like Charlie's Angels. Hehe.

As for postcards, I enjoy:

GREETINGS FROM, FLAG!, castles, bridges, trains, mapcards, animals (CATS, hippos, frogs, otters, rhinos, sealions, giraffes, dinosaurs and felines), famous paintings, night views, snowy views, buildings, quotes, book covers, Disney, watercolors, famous people, as well as the usual touristic spot.

But I'll love anything else I might get, I'm sure! Just please, write the date on your card.

Please, write something on the card, even if the swap tells you not to. A blank postcard is not as much fun and I love seeing the different handwritings and reading about the people behind them. ;)

As I said, I love animals. Felines, dogs (sharpeis, bulldogs, pugs and boxers), hippos, frogs, giraffes, rhinos, guinea pigs, porcupines, pigs, owls, elephants and penguins. However, I do not like things made with animals, or derived from animals. I fight against animal cruelty.

My favorite colors are green and purple, at the moment. I prefer dark shades, dark green, dark blue and dark red specially. But I also like light combos like pink and purple, blue and white, etc. The only color I really dislike when standing alone is brown. :)
