I love to crochet, knit and bead... and so many other things that if you ask, I've probably done it. :-) :-) I'm currently a SAHM trying to reinventy myself since I can no longer work in the field that I enjoyed before I became a mom. So right now I'm just enjoying my crafting with hopes to build a business where I can craft full time. :-)
I listen to just about anything and have a wide variety of taste. But I think right now I'm leaning towards singers like Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Sara Brightman and Charlotte Church. My staple music though has always been the 'hair bands' from the late 80's and early 90's. :-) :-)
I would say that I really enjoy fantasy fiction and my favorite author is Terry Brooks, but just like anything else in my life, I like to experience a variety. I can be reading about hyperbolic geometry one night and a cheesy romance novel the next. :-) My son and I have been reading the Star Wars: Clone Wars comic books to and I have to admit that I actually look forward to reading the next issues. :-)
My all time favorite is Gone with the Wind. Love everything about that movie... actors, music, cinematography. I have a huge GWTW collection of music boxes, cards, barbie dolls, charms... and I just can't get enough! :-) :-)
I also enjoy sci-fi and fantasy and like to get a bit spooked every once in a while. A good cry is always good with a cheesy chick flick too. :-) :-)
If my tv is not off, then it's on Noggin for my son. But I go enjoy watching Ghost Hunters and anything else I can find that is ghost related. Just love getting that spooky-fun feeling. :-) :-)
Lately I've also been enjoying the movies from the Hallmark channel and Lifetime. I think I'm just easily entertained because I can watch almost anything...
This is what I currently do and enjoy: crochet, knitting, beading, kumihimo, bobbin lace, tatting and sewing
This is what I'd love to learn: spinning, weaving, lampwork and dichoric glass
I also love to purchase papercrafted cards and tags. I have found that using handmade soaps and shampoos are better for my skin than the store bought stuff too. Also, even though I made a lot of jewelry, I also love to receive jewelry that others have made. :-) :-)
Items I'd love to trade for (in no particular order):
I do consider myself fairly easy to please but after looking at this list and still cannot think of what you can make to trade, please feel free to email me. I'm sure we can find something. :-) [email protected]
