I'm a 21 year old feminist and eternally a child at heart. I love kawaii stationary & collectibles, animals (especially cats, sheep, goats, birds), horror & gore, history, foreign cultures & languages, bellydancing, penpalling, and learning new things. Pink is my favorite color, but I tend to wear black and earth tones. I love prints such as hearts, leopard, and polka dots. I also love sweets & fruit imagery--especially if they have faces! I'm into most things from the 1950-60's including fashion, furniture, pin-ups, advertising, and cars. I'm just seriously getting into zines and hope to have my own finished sometime this year. Lately I have been obsessed with maneki neko (Lucky Cat) and matryoshka (Russian nesting dolls). I like to alphabetize. I hate that almost every sentence in this blurb has started with I.

I'm a little obsessed with collecting kawaii stationary and accessories. Some of my favorite characters are Mixed Cats, Nyan Nyan Nyanko, Natto-chan, Usacolle, Danchoo, Tenorikuma, Momopanda, Momobuta, and Milkuma. I adore the Q-lia Smile Pocket and Tiny Café lines--but who doesn't?! I'm desperately looking for these two San-x characters: Mamii (Mummy) Bunny and Nemuri Neko (Sleepy Cat). In general I like food with faces, teeth, animals, mushrooms, skeletons/skulls, ghosts, kitsune, poop, inanimate objects with faces, fairy tale characters...

I don't want Disney or any American characters, Sanrio (unless it's Tenorikuma!! I kinda like Pandapple and Masyumaro too), Diddl, Blue/Pink Bear, Babu, Pucca, or Orange Story items. Please don't send these.

Ryan Adams, Arsis, Neko Case, Fall Out Boy, the Misfits, Saves the Day, Set Your Goals. I love a little bit of everything.

Anchorman, Office Space, Re-Animator, A Tale of Two Sisters. I watch a fair amount of documentaries and Asian horror.

Arrested Development, Futurama, The Office (UK and US). I don't actually have any TV channels at all, so I resort to watching TV on DVD. I'm a bit behind on pop culture and don't mind.

I mostly read nonfiction, and I don't read as often as I'd like.

I'm not good at crafting, nor am I very creative, but I dabble a bit in knitting, collaging, decorating, and making magnets. Things I'm learning: crochet, blockprinting, sewing, embroidery, gardening.
