I am 28 years old and live with my DH and our alaskan malamute. I love animals, especially dogs and horses and camels, but I am super-allergic to cats! My favorite hobbies are quilting, reading, and belly dancing!

Here are some more little things about me:

Allergies: Wool and all wool blends, cats, some soaps and scrubs (scented massage oils and bath salts are fine and I love them).

Stuff I Can Always Use: Cotton quilt fabric in any color/pattern, receipes for delicious dinners or desserts (low-cal and diabetic friendly –but still delicious- a plus!), pottery bowls and mugs, non-boring post-it notes to make my workdays more interesting, and beach, wedding, travel, or archaeology themed scrapbook paper, stickers, or embellishments.

Other Stuff I love: Smelly pillar or votive candles, incense, crystals/rocks, teas, essential oils, cute doggy or horsey stuff, old maps and treasure maps, historical romance novels (the worse and more amusing the better!)

Foods: Dark chocolate, carmel, pretty much anything sweet.

Favorite Colors: Earth tones and jewel tones – reds/oranges/browns/siennas/ambers and blues/purples/burgundys/black.

Stuff I Don't Like/Can't Use: Black licorice, banana scented or flavored items (love bananas themselves but hate artificial), anything with fennel or anise, anything with santas or angels.

I love classic rock, 80's, folk, country, celtic, ethnic (especially middle eastern and african) and a little bit of everything else. I don't tend to care for rap, r&b, blues, jazz, or gospel as generes but like some individual songs from each of them.

Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, Breakfast Club, Formula 51

LOST, Jeopardy, Good Eats, Mythbusters, CSI, documentaries about historical/archaeological stuff.

We don't watch at our house but rent some series once they come out on DVD (or have friends/relatives tape them for us)

Quilting! I love to get FQ's and neato cotton material. No angels or santas please! I am also in the process of scrapbooking a cancun vacation and a wedding. I can't knit or crochet to save my life (plus, I'm allergic to wool) but I love to sew clothes as well.
