Hello lovely swap-bot friends!

My name is Rebekah. My username is after the name of the comforting, wonderful farm I call home (along with more than a few dandelions!)

I love so many things that I hardly know what to begin sharing, but here's a list of some things I cherish:

-Vintage or beautiful things. Playing my vinyl records brings me a lot of joy (crackle sounds and all!) as well as taking an occasional polaroid photo with my SX-70 camera (when my wallet can afford the film!) I like looking at anything pretty or retro, anything with some history behind it and charm.

-Bible verses. I am a Christian and if that's something you'd like to share I'd love to read the ones that bring you comfort or have special meaning to you. My favorite hymn is probably "It Is Well With My Soul"... so beautiful and full of truth.

-Botanicals. No one needs to remind me to "stop and smell the flowers", as you'll often find me nose deep, picking them to press, or enjoying them on stationery, washi tape, stickers, art, and so on. My favorite flowers are Peonies, and lately I've fallen for Poppies too.

-Literary things. I work at a library, so I suppose that's not surprising! Quotes, picture book illustrations, Christian fiction, and lots of other "bookish" things. Some childhood favorites that come to mind are "Swiss Family Robinson", "A Little Princess" and anything by Edward Eager. :)

-Art. You'll find me painting mainly with watercolors... I love nearly every hue and shade...

-Some random joys: pasta/ baking/ black teas, like "Constant Comment" and "Earl Grey" to wake me up on my tired mornings /birds /dark green /ivory /sweets/desserts /1940s/ musicals /rhyming poems/ oreos/ berries/ lipstick everything sky! Clouds, stars, sunsets, the moon, clouds, rain, did I mention clouds?? :)

By comparison, there are far fewer things that I dislike, but I tend to avoid: Harsh, vivid colors (hot pink, bright red) /spiders/creepy crawlies/ goth/macabre designs/themes/colors /cartoony/anime style items, like Hello Kitty or Manga
