I will always send my swaps on time. I expect others to do the same. If, for some reason, you're going to be late, then contact me through a message or an email.
If you're having some trouble meeting the due date, then I will be understanding.
If, on the other hand, I have no communication from you before the due date, then I will rate as per the swap criteria and will not change it. So, please contact me BEFORE the due date with any troubles.
If, on the other hand, you have not received one of my swaps, PLEASE message me. I'd be happy and very willing to send it again and recreate it to the best of my ability as soon as I can and get it into your hands. That's what swap-bot is all about!
Preparing for the Bar Exam. My brain feels like it's going to explode. Swapping will be limited to things that are stress-relieving for me with minimal costs (yaaaaay student debt).
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message or PM me.
I'm a twenty-something girl (or so I still like to think) who is studying for the bar exam after law school.
I LOVE sports, no matter the kind. Anything from football to futbol. Curling can be exciting, too!
My favorite way to waste time is definitely reading. I'm in the process of sorting through all my old books, which is very sad.
I gave up my entire Dr. Seuss collection to my nephew and (honestly) regret it.
I love writing letters, no matter the reason and love to get mail, even if it's short.
I have one dog, a Korean Jindo, named Bea (short for Beatrice). I am also looking after my sister's English Pointer/Old English Sheepdog mix, named Kancho.
I love all kinds of movies. Action, romantic comedy and everything in-between.
I tend to get sick of sequels and series, unless they're truly epic or interesting.
I do stray towards movies with more well-known actors and actresses or directors, probably just because I know what to expect. The worst feeling in the world is to go into a movie with no expectations and having that movie fail to meet even those.
A list of some of my "I would SO watch that again for the millionth time" movies:
My favorite books are by Neil Gaiman (and yes, graphic novels ARE books). Terry Pratchett is currently my author of choice as I'm going through Discworld.
I'm currently into a political theory trend on democratic systems and development of nation states.
I was briefly obsessed with demonology and Dante's Divine Comedy, especially Inferno. I read the trilogy in the original Italian and made me want to read all of my favorite books in their original languages, only to realize that they're mostly in English. I still have a strange fascination with angels and demons and their interactions.
I love a good history book if I can find an author who isn't too dry. I studied South Korean political history (mostly the 1970's and 1980's) during my undergrad years, so I really love any new takes on international politics, especially on Park Chung-Hee.
My guilty pleasure is coming up with conspiracy theories about books and my latest target is the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss, starting with "Name of the Wind" and "Wise Man's Fear". Just waiting for the third book, now.
I love most postcards. Minus overly religious items and anything that is bent or ripped, anything is fair game for me!
My particular likes are as follows and would be lovely to receive:
I hate to add this section in my profile, but it's really for my own benefit.

Hi Yuri,
I sent a PM to you as well but I just wanted to check in to see if you had received my card from the Happy April Birthday cards swap. I hope so - but if not please let me know!
In the meantime, here is a little fun birthday profile deco for you!!
Thanks so much for sending back my New Hampshire postcard. I love Fall too and it must be gorgeous there in New England. Not so sure about your winters though! Take care.
Oh that was for the Adventures of the Traveling Postcard swap, btw! Should have mentioned that!
I received the extra PC's that you sent me! Thank you and I will get them back into rotation ASAP!
Thank you for joining My Drunk Penpal!
Hey - glad you got the PC I sent and sorry about sending the wrong team. I'm not a huge fan but am happy to share our pretty stadium. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Hi Yuri, Just wanted to let you know that I sent your nesting envelopes today. I'm sorry to say that the post office worker put a metered mail sticker on it rather than a stamp, but by the time I realised it was too late :( Sorry! I don't understand why they don't try and put a nice stamp on a nicely decorated envelope!!! Hope they arrive soon.
Warm hugs and welcome to COLD HANDS WARM HEARTS.
Thank you so much for your return postcard. I absolutely loved it. I hope to visit your country one day!!!! Thanks again x
