Description:

Tired of receiving those dull white envies in the mail? Well, here is your chance to make a change to that.

For this swap we will make one partner some HAPPY Mail Art. How you interpret the ‘HAPPY’ part is up to you as the sender. So grab your markers, scissors, ink, glue, fabric, tape, pencils or paint and let your imagination run wild and go decorate that envie.

To make it a little more special and HAPPY please include a little note with some words of encouragement, a funny quote, a newspaper cartoon etc. for your partner to enjoy.

Minimum envelope size is standard greeting-card sized: approx. 6.5 inches x 4.5 inches / 16.5cm x 11.5cm.

It's always nice to check out your partner's profile for ideas on likes/dislikes – but it is sender's choice.

Please send something you would love to receive!

, will need at least 5 people to sign up in order for it not to be cancelled.

From this site's help section: What do the three different swap types mean?

•Type 1 - Electronic - All electronic-only swaps fall under this type. Swaps of email letters or surveys, e-cards, blog links, Etsy favorites, Flickr favorites, digital photography, etc. Email swaps are any swaps that are done over the internet and do not require postage. •Type 2 - Flat Mail - Mail swaps that only require one or two postage stamps, like postcards, letters, and other postal mail swaps with little, to no, craft component. •Type 3 - Crafts and Packages - Any time-intensive craft swaps or swaps that must be mailed in a package. Most swaps will fall under this type. Anything sent in a box, bubble mailer, or large envelope is a Type 3.

Shouldn't this swap be a type 3??

Hi We don't USE the envelope that we make for our partner, We send it to them in a larger envelope, right? Sorry I sound thick, but that's my doubt :P &, how many do we make?

Thanks!

One decorated envelope is sent through the mail as mail art.

@RooBaRoo ... Yes, we do use the envelope. Leave enough space on the front of the envelope to add the address, then decorate it, stamp it, and mail it. My mailman says he enjoys delivering my mail. :-)

PrairieKittin, My mail man says the same
