I love using buttons on my stuffies, so any color or design would be great--the wilder, the better!

I like the big vintage buttons and the cutsy button like such as ice cream cone buttons , birdhouse buttons , flip flop buttons ,you get the idea .

Roostercraz, all you have to do is join the swap and in a few days you will recieve an email saying that its time to post to your partner and you just get your package ready and send it off, once your partner recieves it they will leave you a rating on your profile. Hope that helps.

New here and read your directions about do and don'ts but feel silly for asking but where in my profile do I fill out like and dislikes?

Anyway, I love old vintage buttons, the older the better and second choice would be crazy unusal graphics on button ie, swirls, lines, and lots of color, but happy with any-don't fret. :)

Hello LinLin, to fill out your profile there is a tab along the top that says profile and then edit profile will be there, just fill it all in about your self. Hope that helps.

Oooohhh I love buttons. Any will be fine as I use them on cards or gifts for friends and family.

im really new at this, but im really interested in doing it. I have a nice collection of buttons in various colors and sizes. I'll try to send a nice set. But I dont know what to send them in?? I dont have any little boxes, does anyone have a inexpensive solution? or would it be okay if I just sent them in an envelope?

I'm starting to embelish my quilts so if possible I'd like pink buttons, flowery buttons, "girly buttons".

I would love some pink, blue, green and aqua colored buttons...please no white...I have a kajillion white buttons!

msscoco, an envelope would be ok, maybe wrap them in bubble wrap before.

Also, its upto the partner what they send.

Hi, an excited newbie here- Of course any button would be great, but I like vintage buttons. Small is good, pastels. I also like big modern, graphic-y buttons. Or something for Halloween.( not cute) Thanks

If we can't fit the specific likes listed are we in danger of being rated a "3" [for sending but not fulfilling the swap]I have a gazillion buttons and love to swap them, but I don't have a lot of the likes posted here and I don't want to specifically purchase for this swap, but would like to join.

vintage/old/antique metal/armed forces..... oh gosh, how exciting! I remember going to fabric stores with my mom and spending HOURS digging through the button bins - this is the next best thing!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello SkippyMom, I think you should send what ever buttons you think your partner would like, its upto you what your partner recieves and shouldn't be what they specifically want. Hope thats not too rude. Its a button swap so any button is fine!

I really love all sorts of buttons. I've been collecting them since I was a kid. So did my Mom & I got her's when she passed away. I really love vintage buttons but I'd really be excited with anything really different or artsy. Love Color!

I don't need any white or black. Some 'woodsy' or Moose buttons would be fun, but I will be happy with anything.

well, I have my buttons little package ready to post, I tried to choose different buton shapes and colors and materials...as SkippyMom asked about rating...I am afraid of a low rating if my package won´t fit to my swap partner expectations. But still I think that in this swap I am supposed to post buttons I have ( I mean I have at home and want to swap it) not that I have to go and buy buttons my swap partner want to get. If I am wrong I am affraid that I will not join:-( I´ll try to add some buttons in color my parnter wish but I won´t go to a shop and buy some in order of my partner preferences. I do not sound rude or something....and I am not going to send junk I don´t want to have at home;-) I will send pretty ones.

I, too, love buttons. I have boxes full that were my mother's and grandmother's, and I've had friends that I exchanged buttons with and then made button strings. So many variations on the theme. This should be great fun!

I prefer unusual buttons, not white or blacks only please.
