Hi I am a mom to grown kids and three adorable angels called grandkids I am also a mom to two chihuahuas . One was a rescue who was treated very badly and she is finally happy with us . That is how I came up with my user name on here .. I live in Ohio . I enjoy reading , houseplants , making and collecting bookmarks , collecting postcards , stationery (I write alot of letters and have a few pen pals ).I also enjoy collecting religious items including but not limited to pictures of Jesus , crosses and miniature statues of jesus as well (I love to put those on my bedside table ..I enjoy growing my african violets and have several other houseplants that I enjoy taking care of . I enjoy baking my own bread . I try to stay active in whatever I do . I dont appreciate gossip and if you have to gossip do it somewhere else , save the drama for the queens and your mama .LOL !!!

I enjoy reading my bible everyday and am trying to read the whole bible in a year , we will see how that goes as well . My faith is very important to me but not to other people I understand that ,I will say that I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I love the Lord with all my heart . I dont push my religion on other people .

I use fountain pens to write my letters so if you have any extra fountain pen ink cartridges and you dont know what to do with them , they can find a loving home here .. I love tea and enjoy most flavors except for the red teas , dont care much for green . I mainly enjoy black teas .That includes the fruit added black teas.

Allergies : I am allergic to cat hair , bird feathers and cigarette smoke . If you smoke please put a dryer sheet in the pkg with the item you are sending .

what kind of books do I enjoy ? well I like a good mystery of course as well as drama . some of my fave books are "The blackest bird " by Joel Rose , "The dry grass of august " by Anna Jean Mayhew, the help , the secret life of bees , some of my fave authors are Chris Bohjalian ,Jo ann Mapson , Virginia Ellis Amy Tan , Anne Patchett Alexander McCall Smith is also a favorite (I guess it is because some of my mothers london-er blood got into my veins as well LOL !!) . I also enjoy the Jan Karon mitford series and if you have any of her books , contact me I am willing to trade , also love sena jeter naslund as well and if you have any of her books will do a trade for those also , just pm me and we will work out a trade ,,some others I enjoy are Joyce Meyer , Liz Curtis Higgs , I also love Stormie Omartian , Lynne Hinton series , Carol Kent's books if you dont know her you should read her books she is a very strong christian woman . .I also enjoy christian reading .I also enjoy the books by Annabell Davis-Goff especially "The fox's walk . My absoloute fave book of all time is "To kill a Mockingbird " if you happen to have a copy and you dont want it then please pass it along here and or would be glad to trade for it .Also if you happen to find a copy of Amy Tan's "Saving Fish from Drowning ", I would gladly trade for it . Books are an obession of mine and one i gladly love . Yes total bookworm here LOL :0!!! Also a note too if you have any christian books you dont want please pm me I would trade for them .

i like country music and line dancing .I also enjoy opera and andre bocelli is my favorite and i could always use another cd of his.

I also play the violin and I am a classically trained violinist . In my younger days I played with an orchestra . I had a schlorship to Julliard but had to withdraw as my father passed away leaving my mom peniless so we had to move in with our grandmother .

I dont watch much tv but the new show Pan am and once upon a time , body of proof , person of interest and most recently the finder . I also like harrys law , the good wife , bones (although a little too real for me at times LOL ) , revenge is also a good one .

Crafting bookmarks , collecting bookmarks , religious bookmarks are welcome always ,, I also collect buttons (the older the better on the buttons ) rubber stamps , ,ribbons to add to the bookmarks , also beads are a nice addition to a bookmark as well .I love to cook so a nice hearty recipe or even a vegan recipe is always welcome . Pretty stationery with matching envies or alone , makes no difference to me , also love stickers to put on my envies , any kind of stickers(religious stickers are fine and welcomed ) except for gothic , nudes , or satanic or vampire . I really like cute animal stickers . I love handcrafted bookmarks as well . Nothing is more unquie than a handcrafted bookmark .I also have a passion for giraffes and monkeys . Little statues or trinkets from the dollar store dont bother me and some of them are so cute and have certainly found a place in my heart , after all it is the thought that counts is it not ?

I rate as soon as I receive the swap if I have not rated you it is because I have not received your swap . My mail is sometimes slow because I live in a extremely small town . I feel this should be common courtesy but needs to be said . If you mail a swap late and dont notify me then I will rate down because I feel as though we are all adults here and you should know when the send date is and if you cant send by that date then you should contact your partner and let them know you are going to be late or dont join the swap at all .I feel that you disrespect the swap , the co-ordinator of the swap and your swap partner when you send late and dont have the common courtesy to notify them that you are going to be late . Yes , i do understand things happen but how hard is it to send an email and let someone know ? And frankly to get a swap and not give in return is stealing and I equate a flaker with a theif .

I will not lower myself to other people's standards because that is of satan and I will pray for them and their superior attitude . I was named by someone as a difficult swapper and they were the ones who got me out of my sickbed one hour after being home from the hospital !!! I got up out of my sickbed and took the pkg to the post office and they had the nerve to accuse me of being rude LOL !!! That has to take the cake !!! However I will not put their name here but if you want that persons name I will gladly give it to you !!! I mean what a drama queen !!!

I always send my swaps out in the first day or two after checking my partners profiles for likes or dislikes . I never wait till the last minute to send out a swap , to me that is borrowing time and it can get away from you so quickly . also if you dont receive a swap from me within a reasonable amount of time then please contact me before rating . I ALWAYS SEND MY SWAPS !!!! I am also generous with hearts especially if I see that the person did bother to read my profile and took some time and effort for the swap .
