Do you luuuuurve getting a beautifully wrapped gift? Package? Letter?? How about all three? For this swap, you will send one package to one partner. you will be using every bit of creativity in you to wrap an amazing package. Make it a package you can't wait for the person to give you a heart on! (not one your biting your nails about) This swaps all about the outside, not the inside, though we will be including some items in the box (who wants a package with nothing in it?) Your swap should include: One item made of paper (small notebook, stationary, stickers etc) One piece of fabric, lace or ribbon. Something sparkly. Something from their wishlist. A suprise goodie. ( tea, food lip balm) A nicely decorated letter about your favorite memory when you were little. They should be wrapped in nice paper. (excepting the letter, which is in an envelope) Include ribbon, fancy tape, stamps, stickers, a card in an envelope, you get the idea, let loose on this one!!! The items should cost no more than 5-8$. It does not have to be in a box, it can be in a bubble envelope in order to keep the costs down. If you are sending in a mail envelope, include tissue paper, ribbon etc, make it as pretty as you can!! Items are senders choice, but check for allergies. This is a wonderful idea. I love packages which are wrapped in a clever way. I especially love using repurposed items, like used wrapping paper, portions of used greeting cards, decotrated plain brown paper bags, fun looking candy boxes, etc. However, I was wondering...Are we suppose to wrap each individual item in an interesting way, or just wrap a package/envelope that inside contains all of the smaller items?

Ho I love this idea!!! It is true that the unwrapping sometimes is the nicest part in receiving a gift.... I personnaly put alot of love in my wrapppings!

It depends on how your designing the wrapping. But you definitely don't have to wrap everything individually =)

I drive people nuts at the holidays and birthdays, because if a gift is wrapped really nicely, I usually unwrap it real slowly, often saving the wrapping paper, ribbons, and bows for future use in crafts or to wrap other gifts.

Such a quick turn-around time! I'd LOVE to join this swap, but I work full-time & am afraid I won't have time to put a beautiful package together once the partners are assigned :( I'll definitely join next time if there's a longer period to send.
