Hello again! For this swap, you must send one partner one work of embroidery that is at least 4 X 4 in. in size. The main color used must be purple, in any of its shades or hues. Subject is sender's choice. Please, no one with a rating under 4.8 and no no-sends. Newbies MUST have well filled-out profiles. I will angel if necessary but that doesn't give you free reign to flake. If for some reason you can't complete the swap, you need to let me know! Happy swapping!

woo hoo! just got done with the blue! there aren't enough embroidery swaps on here! can't wait to get started on this one! also, i'm hosting the sea creature embroidery if anyone's interested!

is this hand embroidery or machine embroidery? and is it just the embroidery or can we put it on like a kitchen towel or something?

Jj9jj: Hand embroidery and machine embroidery are definitely alright. I tend to think that machine embroidery is just as much work in its own way.

Renees: So far it's just been embroidery on a bit of fabric, perhaps for you to use later, or to put together with all the ones you collect. This is the second in a series, sort of, and I plan on doing more as long as there's interest. However, if you'd like to put it on something else, that's fine too.

To all: I've extended the swap date by a week to give an even three weeks, just in case some need extra time.

Just wondering is cross-stitch considered embroidery? I need to work on my other stitches.
