I live in amazing South Africa which I fell in love with at the age of 8 and have never left since. I am a Graphic Designer & single mom. We are huge Table top Gaming geeks .. Nerds rule in my house any thing geeky, sci fi or just pain cool, my secret love is cheesy B grade sci fi movies.

SEWING SEWING SEWING!! I will do any type of sewing - except for clothing...not sure as to why the aversion to clothing sewing but its there!!

I LOVE to embroider. I will & do embroider anything I can get my hands on.
Apart from embroidery I really enjoy the puzzle like experience of applique and quilting - so my 10 year old ends up with a lot of refashioned appliqued t-shirts! Love free hand Motion embroidery stitching .. especially boyish projects as there seems to be very little in the way for boys. Being able to combine embroidery, quilting & applique seems to me to be the best of all worlds!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD a TRACKING number (register post if it is a letter -i have just read on line that in the USA Registered post means something entirely different than here in SA - i think that for the US it is called a Certified Mail/Certificate of Mailing ) otherwise if there isn't one, I can guarantee it will never get to me (or mine to you).

The SA Postal system is really good at ‘losing’ things that don’t have a tracking no. :o( It would be a great pity to have your hard work just go missing without me being able to ooooh and aaaaah at it. I in return, will send out every post with a registered letter tracking number so that you are sure to receive it in return.

The postal Service here in South Africa is really slow, and although they assure me that a mail to the US or UK will take 10 working days, it has taken as long as 6 weeks ... so please don't think that its not on the way!!

I LOVE fabric especially boy prints, bright fresh colours, also those cute Japanese robot or woodland prints, and bright batics - here in SA quilting fabrics is rare to come by .. there is only 1 quilting shop in a 350 mile radius in my city!

I know this is extra to ask for, but I would really love it if you could include 1 small thing for my son, Miguel who is 10. He never gets snail mail and loves it when something comes for him. He calls them his UNBIRTHDAY presents!. It does not need to be big or cost much, just a sticker or two. A small piece of candy. A Starwars Minecraft Sticker .. Even if you have old unloved Lego figurine laying around - he is LEGO obsessed & loves collecting the different types of men. (here in SA we get very limited collections), he would be ecstatic!

We then mark off on his world map (that is on his wall) were the parcel came from and we learn a little about that country or town.
