one thing that frustrates me is my mother's driving. every time i'm in the car with her, i always have to give her directions on how to get somewhere, even if we just went to the same place the day before. oh, and telling her to watch the road, stay in her lane, etc... . she's worse than a teenager just learning to drive.

I get frustrated when my mother inappropriately hums the Final Jeopardy song. You know, the music that signals how much time you have to answer the question. This is something she does all the time! Granted, she is older and has some brain damage, but still. It's so frustrating when you are doing something and then you feel like you're under a time crunch because the lady next to you is humming the Final Jeopardy theme.

I get so angry with my sister because she texts/talks on her cell phone while driving. She's been in 3 car accidents in the past year, and can't seem to take a hint. While I love her and do worry about her well being, I'm also worried about other drivers on the road. How would she feel if she inadvertently hurt somebody because she couldn't put her cell phone down for a minute? She's only 17, and her social life is very important to her, but she needs to realize that she's not going to have any life if she keeps at it.

I work at a certain big-box retailer in bookkeeping. Basically I count all the tills and all the money and make new tills, in addition to lots of paperwork. Anyway, they just tightened up our security SOP so that I have to turn on a bunch of alarms every time I step out of the room, even if I'm just getting something that printed in the next room. Closing the safe makes sense, but arming everything then having to disarm it when I walk back in 15 seconds later? What a hassle! Also, people call me constantly, probably 25 times a day, to ask for supplies and to be let in to the office next door, to which only managers and bookkeeping associates have a key. Now I have to turn on the alarm EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, then turn it off when I return 10 seconds later. So annoying!!

during the summer, every thursday night (between late may through late august), there are concerts in the ampitheature across the street that last usually until 11pm. what annoys me about it is the noise expecially when it's a band you don't like, and don't even get me started with the A-HOLES with the motorcycles who sit there and rev their bikes for several minutes before they leave. too bad the noise ordenance law (no loud noises after 10pm) doesn't apply to them.

i would move, but the building i live in, the rent goes by income

The one thing that frustrates me is the inconsideration of other drivers......We went to go to hobby lobby and hit a couple of other stores about two weeks ago and we came into the parking lot almost got hit by one driver driving "across" the lanes not up and down them, then we came up on an isle were a guy was pulling out of a parking lot and we turned on the turn signal waiting patently for them to pull out.....well pedestrians blocked us from pulling in so we waited...another person pulls up pulls between the pedestrians and pulled right into the spot we were waiting on....we had been waiting for 5 mins....the same night we got to pull out of the spot we parked half a mile away from the door and a big truck pulls in behinds us and tries to park across from us and we were waiting for him to try and pull into this spot.....it took him 6 tries all directions almost hitting us three before he got stuck in the lane O.o luckily enough the person parked in front of us came out to leave so we could pull foward but if the big truck just had waited to let us pull out first he could have worked that big truck in using both spots.....ALL this impatient drivers drive me up the wall!!!!

i get annoyed when i sent out a really good swap took time on it and dont even get a thankyou. another thing people tend to rate you before you send your email swap whats that about? lol it happened a few weeks ago by the host who created the swap,... werid! hate ungrateful nasty people who are self centered. and hate crueltry to animals... hate ppl who chat n text while driveing.hate 3 way conversations, duh..........

draco 12/26/2010 #

what i also hate is when i see people who smoke in their cars AND they have very small children or infants with them. no wonder there's a lot of children with asthma these days.

Potatoez 12/27/2010 #

I hate it when you go to the grocery store and the clerk bags your food in the most ridiculous way possible. Bread under something else, bags way too heavy to carry, tossing cans in so hard they get dented, etc. Gah.

Potatoez 12/27/2010 #

Another thing I hate is parents that let their children run free in waiting rooms and don't bother to get up even if their child is about to hurt his/her self. I see this especially at places like the DMV. The kid is climbing up the back of a chair and it's tilting at a terrifying angle, every adult in the room is reaching out desperately trying to save the poor child from a face plant into the floor. The child's parent however, is fiddling around on their ipod, talking on their cell phone, or simply WATCHING, as if it's a television show and nothing is actually going to happen.

reauk 12/27/2010 #

my pet hate is women who are pregant drinking and smokeing...it really annoys me....and kids running around in eating places screaming and crying....cant stand in a queue and sum old lady pushes in front of me how rude is that? my list is endless lol.

ChelseaLake 12/27/2010 #

Another pet peeve of mine is when you go into a restaurant with your family/significant other, sit down, smile at each other across the table, and all of a sudden, some jackass starts talking on his cell phone next to you really loudly. It's frustrating when you're trying to have a nice conversation over a nice meal, and the people who can't talk quietly can't step outside to talk on their phones or just put it away.

Oh...oh...and public restrooms. I really hate nasty, dirty, disgusting public restrooms. Toilets that aren't flushed, urine on the floor/toilet seat...WORSE on the toilet seat...Come on. That's just disgusting. I went into one once where somebody had literally squatted and defecated in the corner. I was in shock.

draco 12/27/2010 #

one of many things that irks me involves: people who stare at or make rude comments at those who may look different because of physical challanges or because of their weight. nowadays, you can't tell these people to "take a picture because it'll last longer" because they will (if they haven't already) because of those EFFING camera phones.

while i'm on the subject of camera phones and rude people, i wish people wouldn't take your photo without your knowledge/permission and then post it one the internet (i know people that this happened to)

reauk 12/27/2010 #

another thing i hate is when your waiting for a bus in the pouring rain and some idolt goes pass so fast and on purpose splash you and you get wet thru. wot morons.... or you get run over with buggys over your feet... wonder sometimes if these people need a licence to use em...

halfdeserted 12/27/2010 #

Ooh ooh I have a good one... This is one of the most hurtful things that's happened to me. A couple months ago, I was about 50 lbs overweight. I started dieting and exercising and lost 15 lbs by Thanksgiving. My husband's aunt (whom we see only about once a year, and whom I hardly know) asked me if I was pregnant. In front of everyone. Argh!! She's old enough to know better. Plus, she's obese, so she should definitely understand the weight struggle. I kept it together as long as I could, but once I got home I broke down and cried it out. My feelings were really really hurt.

Lesson to world: Never ever ask a woman if she's pregnant, unless she's said something about it already.

Now I've lost about 25 lbs and feel better than ever about myself. :)

Vickyen 12/27/2010 #

Wow, you all have covered many of my frustrations already! I dislike rude drivers, those that do not use turn signals (this is not just optional equipment on your vehicle, please use them!!). I dislike parents that are so worried about being their child's "friend" that they never discipline their child, so the kid is a total jerk. I dislike when my kids think I am the maid service and when I tell them to do something, they try to give me some lip service - not a good thing for anyone involved!! lol - I dislike when I know my kids are driving and texting, because not only is it against the law, it is very dangerous! I dislike people that are disrespectful of others. I dislike when people either do not rate or do not comment when they rate (really I am glad folks rate, but wish they would say something!!). I dislike when I put my #9 feet in my mouth by saying something stupid or hurtful!! Especially when I should know better! I dislike when people take advantage of the system because they somehow think they are "entitled". Wow, I think that is enough!! Thanks for letting me vent!! ;)

reauk 12/28/2010 #

iv got a saying here for you.... people who gossip with you gossip about you.!

hate 2 faced people nice to your face chit chat behind your back, get a back bone...

AmberLu 12/28/2010 #

There are two thing that frusterate me beyond belief, double standards (What's good for me is good for me but not for you, if I do it, it's fine, if you do it, we are going to have a sumo match with lots of yelling.) and people who twist the truth so much that they believe their own lies so that they aren't the villian in something and they do it with the intent purpose because they cannot handle the fact that they might have messed up. We are human! No one is perfect! facedesks and eyecrosses A minor pet peeve? Those people who talk about make fun of others really really loudly all while thinking they are being quiet when in reality, that person can hear them! Makes me wanna pull ears and send people to the corner, or hand out dunce hats.

reauk 12/28/2010 #

worst perve lyeing exs husbands... who decided to stop paying child maintance.. oh dont get me started lol.

ChelseaLake 12/28/2010 #

This is fun! It makes me feel better to know there are others out there as irked at some things as I am! Big hugs to everyone!

Back on topic...Here I go again: I love my grandma. Oh GOD I love her. But sometimes, she really ticks me off with some of her little remarks. You see, she was a beautician back in the day, and feels the need to pick at the way I look constantly. She tells me when my eyebrows need waxed (Screw that...it hurts. I'll use tweezers ANY day!). She tells me when my hair is "bad". She tells me when I've lost/gained weight. She tells me that I need more/less makeup. She tells me if my clothes are wrinkled. If my nails are chipped, my lips are chapped, if I have a zit, or a clump in my mascara...it's like her birthday.

Geez woman! Give it a break!

milko 12/28/2010 #

The thing, which frustrates me terribly is my future-mother-in-law, she likes to come to our house UNANNOUCED at least couple mornings per week to see how we are doing, to bring some of her homecooked meals!!! Whatever the reasons are, first of all, I hate it, because I am from the different, hm.. lets say culture (don't even mentioned- manners..). I am Lithuanian, who lives in Greece , and without notice or invitation nobody used to come to my home, to my private life etc. And I just don't get this sooooo close mother-son relationship, 'cuz my fiance doesn't seem to have any problem about this.. Second of all, she comes in the morning, and we are usually sleeping, or still in the bed. To hear the sound of door bell first thing in the morning, and to see somebody else when I don't want to see myself yet, DRIVES ME NUTS!!! every freaking time!! and it's a shame, because apart from this, she is really good woman, but I just have anger in me forever because of this!

milko 12/28/2010 #

Another one :) : I get very frustrated when going somewhere, person who drives the car, in a high traffic areas or hours starts making rounds on the same streets again and again just to find parking as close to the destination as possible! Instead of parking without any problem little bit further and walking 5 min. to the place, we have to sit in a car and traffic for usualy 20- 30 min, just to park the car where would be no need of walking... Hate it, hate it!!!!

Potatoez 12/28/2010 #

One of my biggest pet peeves lately is people that use the phrases "That's gay." or "No homo" constantly. So. Annoying.

MessInADress 12/28/2010 #

My biggest frustration right now is the woman I work for. I watch her son three times a week, roughly nine hours a week. The week before Christmas, I had her son from 7.45 in the morning until almost 3 in the afternoon one day. she has not paid me, mentioned paying me, nada. This isn't the first time, either. She has gone almost two months without any mention of meaning to pay me, a reason why she hadn't...nope. And when she does finally cough up the dough, it's well after when I REALLY needed it, or it's well less than what I deserve. $20 for three weeks? Can you say rip-off? I understand that she's a single mom with three boys and bills, but, come on, she gets paid every week! And a nice chunk of change, too. If she can afford to buy a car, easily, then he can afford to pay me properly. I'm getting so sick of being taken advantage of, I'm so close to becoming suddenly unavailable until she gets a hint.

MessInADress 12/28/2010 #

Oh, and another! I absolutely HATE it when people use "gay," "faggot," "homo," etc. as insults or negative comments. It's wrong, it's mean, it's stupid, it's unnecessary. And I have to hear it from my brother, who's just reaching teen-years and doesn't care if it hurts anybody.

RiverSong 12/28/2010 #

I hate that because I just qualified as a social worker (the good kind) every one assumes that means I work with children (I don't) and that therefore they can ring me up, for answers to their child related problems, or because they want to report their neighbours/ enemies / schools etc and expect me to know all the answers. I love being able to help peeople but I am not a fountain of knowledge and it would be nice if every once in a while someone phoned me and said... Hi how are you (and was actually interested in the answer rather than me giving advice to their problems)

RiverSong 12/28/2010 #

My second comment (I could go on for ever) is supermarkets and the new self service tills they have brought in... now I'm not an idiot if the sign says 10 items or less that's what it means right? (maybe I am a conformist lol) not only do you get the people with a trolley full of shopping but they clearly don't know how to use the machines and you have to stand in the queue for 30 mins + and watch people just stare at the machine scratching their heads trying to scan things that don't scan, or looking for bar-codes on items on loose items like mushrooms and peppers... I realise this is a petty rant but it drives me insane, especially when its my lunch hour and all I wanted was a sandwich!!!

draco 12/28/2010 #

something that irritates me about the city i live in is the taxi service here. (you can't just flag them down, if you want one, you have to call). well, anyway, what i hate is that sometimes you have to wait up to 90+ minutes for them to come. worse is when you have a doctor's appointment, need to get to the bank before they close, or at the grocery store (seems like the more parishable the items you have, the longer it takes for them to come).

it seems that just because i'm on disability, and have a set rate fare card, i have all day to wait.

milko 12/28/2010 #

oh, here comes another one.. :) thing which makes me whisper curses and make eye-rolling, hoping that this person will get it, is when some man acts with his woman/ mother, etc. rude, like he is a superior sex and woman is just stupid or some kind of slave, I don't know.. That I see sometimes in supermarkets or in the streets. Makes me both sad and angry :(

leighthalzombie 12/28/2010 #

I get incredibly frustrated with people who are overwhelmingly hypocritical, and people who are unecessarily rude. For example, I try to express my feelings and seperate myself from someone who is bringing me down [in a polite way, no less] and they feel the need to go off on me and then proceed to talk about me to other people. And hypocrites- they're also rude, but in a way that makes me want to laugh to the point where all I can do is just shake my head and /facepalm. Everyone has their silly moments, but when a person drags on their "I dislike this but I'm doing it to other people anway" attitude throughout everyday lifestyle, it's too much. Why can't we all just have common courtesy with one another? No one is better than anyone else. Sure, everyone dislikes someone/something, but should this object of dislike be also the victim of harsh treatment? Everyone's equal, and it's frustrating when no one seems to accept that.

draco 12/29/2010 #

one of a number of things i hate is every time i go to the grocery store, people think they must be concerned about what may be in my cart and make rude comments because i do have a weight issues. they also loudly whisper things to the people they are with about salads and slimfast and they don't care that i, and others like me, can hear them. and why do people think that our problem is the lack of self control? don't they think that that's not always the case? sometimes other things, like some medications, other physical issues, genitics, and other things could also be factered in it? some people think people like me shouldn't exist. i'd like to see these rude people see what it's like for a couple of days, maybe they wouldn't be so rude.

reauk 12/29/2010 #

my boy cant pronounce some words he 16 now he use to get bullyed at school for this ....some people need to get a life. we all made different.. i hate bulllys.. i was bullyed at school becos i was the smallest in class wore glasses and my name is english its greek.. i find you dont need to be in school to be bullyed bullys everywhere.

milko 12/29/2010 #

Really, simple little thing, but drives me crazy!: when I have to write some text non- stop (in the university especially), and my pen stops writing!!! and it's usually not even pen's fault, some paper pages has, like, areas where it just doesn't catch nothing...And then in hurry I try to check my pen on the other pages, and it writes, and then try to leave some space and write below, and usually it doesn't work either, and then I get so terribly nervous, or my paper gets ripped, or the pen :)))) and finaly just sitting and almost feeling steam going through my ears!!

leighthalzombie 12/29/2010 #

i hate when people stereotype me, and then think I'M unintelligent for rejecting their stereotype. I apologize for not wanting to be thrown into a group and slapped with a label like I'm a can of soup. Guess I'm just stereotypical that way. -___-

blessedtwox 12/29/2010 #

One thing I absolutely hate about drivers, are the ones who think their car is soooo nice, they need to take up two spots, so no one parks close enough to hit them. Sometimes, I understand this, but if you feel the need to take up 2 spots, park in the BACK of the parking lot, not the FRONT! Sometimes, i purposely park so close to their car, i have a hard time getting out, just to prove a point. if you think your car is that precious, you shouldnt be driving it.

blessedtwox 12/29/2010 #

oh, i also really hate when people look down on me and judge me without knowing me. i get looked down on constantly because im a young mother. but guess what, im doing a better job as a mother than some women i know who are 20 yrs older than me. dont judge me when you dont know me! i also work in the food service business, and i hate when people come in and think they are soooo much better than me because im serving them. im sorry i dont have a rich husband to take care of me while i do nothing all day! i have to work for my money just like everyone else who works! it doesnt make me less of a person just because i have to wait on you!

MessInADress 12/29/2010 #

Oh boy, here we go again...The apartment office where I live. This could go on forever, but I'll try to condense it. First off, the new manager is a dip-face (to put it nicely). She's all cutesy and polite during functions and when you're in good standings on rent and no complaints on you, but boy-howdy, pay your rent just a tiny bit late and get those late charges, she grows her devil horns and tries to tack on charge after charge. She tried to pin us with over $1000 of late fees, and on the notice we got IN OUR DOOR (keep this in mind, now) it said it was HAND-DELIVERED to ******** Morris. ( * = letters of my mom's name. Privacy, y'know?). The problem? Our last name is Robbins. And it was in the door. So my mom went to our church, she went to the office, and...the church paid this month's rent and the office manager had to stuff it and drop all fees.

That's issue one. Issue two, now, is about their hours and planning. Who closes for training on a Tuesday, in the middle of the day? Without notice to anybody that it may inconvenience? So now, I have to wait until mid-afternoon today to hopefully get the package that couldn't be delivered yesterday that I desperately need. The office closes at different times for lunch everyday, they close randomly through the day, and they've even lost one of our neighbor's packages from the holidays. If I didn't like living here so much, I'd ask my mom if we could move...or I'd start packing to move in with my fiance. Augh...apartments!

draco 12/29/2010 #

what i hate is when you are in the middle of typing something very long (report or something important) on the computer, your computer shuts down on you and losing EVERYTHING you just typed, expecially if you're almost done with the thing.

Oddbreed 12/29/2010 #

My biggest frustration is truly people, not all people just the ones who dont have a clue! Like people in there big trucks riding your bummper while the roads are frozen abnd it starts snowing.. Today I witness a car accident~the man was trying to bully this older lady into not calling the police, he totaled her car and no one wanted to help her, why? i quickly got her out of the road and took her for coffee, while waiting for the tow truck and police...I hate it when people disregard their elders! I dont like it when i put my heart and soul into a handmade project for a swap and i get sent garbage, happens more than not! I cant stand People who judge you because of the way you look or your disabilities. People who play the victim..grrr! I do also hate negativity in any form! and i hate complaining so im done! LOL

saskwoman 12/29/2010 #

THE ONE THING THAT FRUSTATES ME IS WHEN I RIDE WITH MY DAUGHTER.........I CAN'T STAND HER DRIVING SHE FOLLOWS TO CLOSE AND I TELLING HER THAT SHE HAS NO REASON TO BE DOING THAT AT ALL. THEN ONE OTHER THING THAT BOTHERS ME IS WHEN SOMEONE THINKS THEY ARE SO BETTER THAN PEOPLS AND ACT LIKE THEY KNOW IT ALL NOT FOR ME AT ALL

blessedtwox 12/30/2010 #

I hate bill collectors (not that I've had many call me, just once) I was scammed out of some money (I was young and dumb) and my bank refused to work with me, and ended up sending it to collections. These people called me day and night, all the time! It got so bad I had to change my number! One guy told me he didn't believe I got scammed at all and told me that he knows exactly what I did with the money, he tells me I took it all and went on a shopping spree. He then told me I needed to grow up, quit being a baby and playing the victim and come up with "their" money. When I told him I was a single mom working part time he told me to "liquidate my assets, borrow money or whore myself out to come up with it" talk about harsh! I know ur job sucks but if you can't handle it, work somewhere else!!

blessedtwox 12/30/2010 #

P.s. sorry it was so long, but I'm in the type of mood where I need to vent. Thank goodness for this swap!! Great idea!

draco 12/30/2010 #

how about arrogent people who think the world owes them something because it's them, and blame others when things don't go their way. also when they think that when someone isn't interested in a physical relationship with them, they think that person is "gay".

also, people who say "i know someone like that/who that happened to" or "that happened to me" everytime something bad happened to someone.

draco 12/30/2010 #

oooh, here we go--how about auto mechanics who think that just because you are a female, you know nothing about how a car/motorcycle works and they use that to add things that are wrong with the vehicle (even though those editional problems don't exist) and/or jack up the price of the repairs that do exist. even when you do know what you're talking about, they don't listen/care to what you say.

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

Well I also have a few irritations, what about work... I work from 7 morning till 17.00 hours in afthernoon, and what if you take the after noon free and you go home 11.30 in morning and your boss \say... do you leave already?? Huh?? Bossy I worked 4,5 hours let me please go home now.....

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

well I have two cats Fred and Wilma, I hate fireworks already, they get frustrated when, it seems like warboms go off.. Why can't they wait till tomorrow ?

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

Well there is more frustration ;-) Why does people hurt each other for nothing? Why can't we respect each other, for the way we are? every person is beautiful on his own way!!! Respect and don't fight, make love!! too much trouble in this world

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

there's more, when I go to the market, and they return not enough free saving coins for an action, I see it but I am too shy to say something, i irritate myself for my shyness....

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

It also fustrate me, that people abuse childeren, what the f ... is wrong with them?? In the Netherlands we had a case with childerencreche were such things happens, you think as parrents that everything is okey and then they abuse your child, horrible. I don't have childeren but I hate such people.

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

I hate Joran v.d. Sloot!!! He is a lier and a murderer!

Patriessie 12/30/2010 #

I think its terrible you drive in your car and you have to go to the toillet but you can't..... you can't do it in the nature, because lots of people and you can't find a gass station etc. ....

nottameable 12/30/2010 #

I had to throw in a last minute rant.......I also hate it when people only contact you when they "NEED" something yet you might see them on facebook or a game day in and day out and not say a word.....But yet they feel they need to complain how you do things or not to do things to others then you hear it from them......Even if i take the time to say hi everyday they never talk or go complain they are always busy and i'm interrupting them.....speak up! or better yet don't when you don't have anything good to say! Good news is the one that hears the BS knows me all to well and puts her two cents in to the other that does nothing but complain......no one is perfect but don't take out your unhappiness on others geesh.....

draco 12/30/2010 #

ever notice that your phone will ring or someone will knock on your door when you're in the shower, sitting on the toilet, or otherwise "occupied"? and/or don't give you enough time to answer before hanging up/leaving? how irritating is that? it seems like people can sense this.

leighthalzombie 12/30/2010 #

I hate when I'm in an intelligent debate and people try to insult my intelligence. For example, I was in a pro-choice/pro-life debate, I stated my opinion and made a metaphor- when no one understood my metaphor they made comments at me such as "Are you 12, or just a mentally challenged individual? Go get lost in your mtv or whatever them kids are into these days." Why can't people stay professional? I never personally insult anyone I'm having a debate like that with. It just makes me want to scream! Besides, no 12 year old types like I do, they all abbrevate and type lyke dis lawlzz. -___- So the comment didn't even make sense.

leighthalzombie 12/30/2010 #

^ it didn't leave my comment. that's frustrating -_-

mooki 12/30/2010 #

ok for adults only... general not specific...1-- my hubby is getting older and he cant perform like he did 11 years ago...but now he's getting into porn more....i am not out of shape and i weigh a bit more than 160, sort of tall--- I still look good...what grates is that he has his desktop as different models, so when i checked him this week, he went into my window and put one of my favorite actors on my desktop....that is NOT okay!!! I have been having to share a computer with him and i ALWAYS run into his a%* pictures!!!!! People in Miami road rage too much. Today I was at a friend's gated neighborhood, but there was a guy in a parked car blocking the residents' entrance. I honk, but he does nothing. He is talking on his cell phone and does not move his car. I wait a while, but he still does not move out of the way. I honk again. Instead, he gets out of the car, comes up to me and threatens me! He is also screaming that I'm a "psycho". Then, once we were both inside the neighborhood, he got out of his car again to scream at me more. He said he was calling the cops. I told him, "Good call the cops." Yet again, he left his car parked in the middle of the road and got out of his car to scream at someone. What was he going to call the police for? To say some lady honked at him??? To report himself for road rage??? To waste their time? Lol. The event really shook me up because you never know who has guns around here, but I thought it was comical when he threatened to call the police.
