Hi - I have just found this site. I have been participating on a swap page on facebook and would love to get into exchanging finished goods. I am really inspired by other crafters and look forward to the challege! I am the mother of two (so they think) grown children, 21 and 18. My 21 year old daughter has been married two years to a great guy, is in the navy and expecting my first grand child. My son is finishing up highschool this year and will likely join the military as well. I love to paper craft; mini albums, cards, ATCs. I have invested in the new love of my life... Cricut and am really having fun checking out all it can do. I make cards Operation Write Home and love to support our brave service men and women. I don't care why they are there or the politics around it. They deserve my support and I joyful give. I also have started a meet up group to create hand crafted items and 'Craft it Forward' in Chicago. It is very new and just getting rolling, but I am excited to see how that blooms.

I live and work in Chicago and love it. I am a software manager by day and run with scissors by night! ;) In the summer I am an avid gardner and have an amazing city garden. I have enjoyed learning how to maximize space with climbers and what things should be in pots. Somewhere along the way I became a tree hugger. I do not use disposables in my home expect bathroom tissue. NO paper napkins, plates, towels. I also have cut out almost all commercial cleaners in an effort to leave the planet better than I found it. ;) Likes - Color red, pink and brown, tone on tone and black and cream My style tends towards the clean and simple, but I am trying to branch out and experience new things. Vintage is my newest one to try to master. It is pretty slow going. Clean and simple to vitange is a big range.
