I am 66 years old, going on 36, married, semi-retired from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks).
Family comes first! I have 2 grown children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 grown step children.
We have 1 cat we inherited from my mother-in-law when she passed away. And as of May 2014, we added an adorable dog: Little Bentley was rescued from a hoarders home by the sheriff and after being treated for 30 days, he went up for adoption. Thank goodness we walked in. He is 2 1/2 years old, 7 pounds, 1/2 long-haired chihuahua and 1/2 terrier--so loving, house broken, and loves to go everywhere with us.
My favorite things to do are: first of all, I like to spend time with family. Then I love to paint/sketch, camp, fish, travel, entertain family and friends (especially having a barbecue where husband cooks!), spend time at the Oregon coast, travel, play cards and board games, watch movies, and curl up in a comfy chair and just visit!
I love reality shows on TV and Revolution and Believe are my favorite series. I like comedy, romantic comedy, murder mysteries, and crime movies.
handmade items drawings or graphic art cards or stationery doilies dresser scarves wood crafts (signs with sayings or artwork art supplies (I used acrylic paints) cool paper or patterns craft supplies easy to make craft ideas/instructions office supplies arts and craft magazine/books or pages unique candles and/or candle holders. jewelry recipe cards and healthy recipes Homey or county decor
My favorite colors are many--purple, earthy browns and greens, and blues.
My husband and I are both attending Weight Watchers. We would appreciate healthy and also good recipes that you have tried and would use again.
I drink coffee, mostly Keurig at home and sugar free skinny lattes when out and around.
heart jewelry (ever since husband had triple bypass--he's doing well) I also love angels as we have a guardian angel--I do believe.
Figurines: dogs, cats, birds, bear, deer/elk, and eagles. In other words, our house could pass for an animal refuge!
We also have a room dedicated to the University of Oregon Ducks.Anything ducky would be shared with my husband Jim. :)
I think I like Swap-bot! I didn't think I would, but my good friend got me started. Thank you Debbie (lifeisgood)!
Although I have a lot of likes--you don't have to go to a lot of trouble to please me--following the swap and sending me a nice note about you, where you are from, your family, and so on, will mean a lot.
Warm regards to you all, Debby (Debbyjean)
