I live in The Netherlands. It's a small country in Europe with almost 17 million people. So it's really crowded. I live in a town near Rotterdam. I am living together with a great man. My love and I have a daughter. She was born just four months ago. So I am busy playing, laughing and hugging with my beautiful baby daughter. I like being creative. I was home for five months after the baby was born. I loved being creative while she was sleeping. I am going to be working next week. Four days. So not so much time for nice projects. There are so many nice things to do. I will have to wait until the Xmas holiday.

My grandma gave me her sewing machine. Really cool, it's probably 50 years old. I don't sew at all. But I want to learn now. So I decided to make a quilt as a first project. A quilt for my daughter, with all kinds of fabrics. That's why I joined swap-bot. So I can collect different fabrics, from all over the world. I hope you can help me with that.

It is my first time swapping. My friend Eveline told me about this website, because I am going to make a quilt. I am swapping a lot to get a minimum of five type 3 ratings. I would like to join quilting fabrics groups.

I will do my best to send everything like it should be. And I hope you will contact me if something went wrong, so that we can solve it to everyone's satisfaction. I don't like flakers and I am certainly not one of them!

IN THE KITCHEN Baking stuff, using my incredible pink Kitchen Aid is one of my favorite things to do. Cakes,muffins or something with chocolate. It's all good!

PAPER A few years ago, my friend Eveline showed me how great it is, to work with nice paper. It started with making Christmas Cards for 50 people (family and friends), but now I am hooked. I like brands such as Graphic45, DCWV, Fancy Pants, Kaisercraft, Marianne Design, My Minds Eye, Prima Marketing, Eline's house and Tilda. Tim Holtz has also a very nice collection of stuff, especially his stamps!

FABRICS Like paper, I just love fabrics. My favorite colors are pink, purple (lila) and all shades of red. But for the quilt I want to make for my daughter, I can use all kinds of colors. It's also the same with prints/ types and themes. Personal I like prints with: small little flowers, heart, muffins or cake and teacup/pots. But for the quilt I am looking for animals or any other children prints. And personal I like Fall very much; the colors of Fall, squirrels and mushrooms, nice leaves. But for the quilt I want all the seasons and holidays to be present.

STAMPING Recently I visited a party from StampinUp, also through Eveline. Because I like stamping a lot. I use all kinds of stamps. Simply cheap ones, but also from SU and Tim Holtz. Another favorite is Eline's House. For the birth announcement that we send to family and friends when our daughter was born, I used over 30 stamps a card. Curious? • I like to drink tea. Lots of tea. I NEVER drink coffee. My favorite teas are herbal teas and rooibos. I don't like Vanilla flavored tea.

I like all kinds of music. Influence by my mother I like classical music very much. Both my parents liked Jazz and so do I. A few years ago I met some new friends who liked punk rock; it really grew on me. But what I like the most, what we in Holland call 'wrong music'. Classics from disco, musical, just nice to sing a long and dance with crazy disco-moves.

I really like to read. But when I am reading a good book, I have to finish it at all cost, mostly my sleeping time. That's why I also read a lot of 'women's books' like Harlequin. I finish them in an hour. But when I am reading 'real' books, then my favorite books are thrillers. Tammy Hoag and Tess Gerrits are my favorite writers. And I read all the Harry Potter books. Sometimes I read them again. There is a Dutch writer, Thea Beckman. She writes children's stories. Some of her books I've already read twenty times. Not kidding!

I like watching movies in two very different genres:

• Action movies like Die hard, Lethal weapon, RED, Expendables, any Marvel movies like spiderman, Hulk, Wolverine, Iron man.

• But also Romantic Comedies like Pretty Women, Wimbledon, Sleepless in Seattle, Runaway Bride and Notting Hill.

When I watch television it is the news or series. I like NCIS (LA), Criminal Minds and CSI. At dinner we watch sitcoms like The big bang theory and two and a half man. I really like Mike and Molly. I also liked Friends very much.
