Ok let's see...I've always been interested in sewing and quilting, dabbling in it here and there, starting projects and rarely finishing, but I have a bit of down time from work since I just had a baby, and I set up my "sewing corner" in his nursery and I've been trying to finish some projects and collecting more fabric for new projects (I just can't help myself #fabrichoarder #addicting) I actually just sent off stuff for my first two swaps (through quilters of America and quiltersassoc) and just the process of ironing, cutting, and bagging it was so fun. I guess it's like wrapping presents for Christmas, you are excited to give it to someone, they don't know what you're sending and you hope they like it. So I found this site and I hope to participate in more fabric swaps as I continue to build and diversify my stash. :)
