My name is Kristin and I live in Stittsville, just a little city on the outskirts of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am married to the best husband and father anyone could ask for. I have my Early Childhood Education Diploma and work at home, running a home daycare. I have a four and a half year old daughter, and we are expecting a second daughter to arrive this October. I have three cats and a dog....it's a furry, furry zoo around here, especially at meal times! ;)

I love crafts of all kinds - card making, scrapbooking, crocheting being my top three right now. I think chocolate and peanut butter should get married. ;) I do love chocolate, but milk or white best, not a big fan of dark. Pumpkin. Mmm. Addicted to anything baked with pumpkin or pumpkin spice. Have a recipe you want to share? I would love that! I love Starbucks, Tim Hortons, anything coffee or latte. I have a keurig and would love to try new k-cup flavours! I'm addicted to Pinterest.... I love baking and cooking up new recipes. I think I love Christmas more than any other time of the year. It's magical, it makes me happy. I have a colection of Snowman things that I put out at Christmas. Miss them through the year. I love camping and the outdoors, the smells of freshly cut grass, and campfires, and watching the leaves change in the fall. I love pickles. I love spending time with my daughter, doing crafts, baking or trying new things together. She makes life better than I could ever have imagined. Anything homemade. If you make it, I will love it! Anything re-gifted. Love that something once loved can be loved once more by someone new. I'm a stampin' Up demontrator, love making cards and giving them away just for no reason.

I don't like vanilla scented items, it gives me a headache. No thanks to salt water taffy. Things that smell like cigarettes. I used to smoke, and now find my nose is extra sensitive to the smell.

I watch a lot of Netflix....My new favourite show is "Orange is the new black", but I am also watching Weeds, The big C, and Prison break. I've also caught up on "how I met your mother" and "heartland" by watching them there. Loved "drop dead diva". I love the food network and watch a lot of cooking shows. My guilty pleasure is TLC and the Duggers or the little couple. They make me happy. Enjoy watching Dexter, The Americans, and Homeland with my Hubby. We are also big fans of Big Brother. :)

Country. Hands down, love it!!! Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Lady A, Dixie Chicks, Hunter Hayes, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, The Band Perry, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Easton Corbin, Billy Currington.....I could go on forever!!

Teas of all kinds - herbal, green, black, fruity, I'll try anything, coffee, love coffee(!), milk chocolate - Lindor is my fav, sour candy, sweet candy, hard candy, soft candy, chewy candy...candy. ;) salty treats. Really, I'm not picky. :)

My tiny human's name is Maddy. She is 4 1/2 and is almost as excited as I am when swaps arrive. She loves reading, we read all the time! She especially loves Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious these days, but we read everything from The Magic School Bus to Robert Munsch. We have also read many chapter books with her, loads of the Rainbow Fairies series's, and books like Stuart Little and Charlotte's Web. Maddy loves drawing, stickers and tiny things. She has a big imagination, and can turn anything into a game or toy. Just today, she swam with her "unicorn" in the hottub....it was a leaf. :) She loves anything that sparkles, is purple, or makes music. She could sing the day away.

I'm just starting to collect postcards. I would love to see cards from places where you live or pictures of things that I can't get or see here in Canada. Fun stamps and extra decorations are a huge bonus! :)
