About Me

I first joined swap-bot around last Christmas (08). Had a few successful swaps and then my life got insane. I found out I was moving from where I had lived my whole life to all the way across the country in California. You will see I have a couple of not so great ratings because once I found out about the move my whole focus went to that and everything else got dropped. I am now settled and hope folks will give me a chance at swapping again.

I am 34, have a wonderful spouse and 2 dogs. We are happy, healthy and trying to adapt to our new lifestyle as California girls!

Favorite Music

I enjoy all kinds of music. I mostly listen to showtunes - LOVE musical theatre and love the beats in hip hop. Interesting mix, huh? But I also love a wide variety of other things from Carrie Underwood to Santana to Tori Amos to Arabic Music

Favorite Books

I read ALOT...recent favorites have included, The Girls, The Poisonwood Bible, The Bean Trees, A Widow for One Year, the Big Cherry Holler series, White Lies, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, The Hour I First Believed, The Rapture of Caanan..... I like novels in general (but not really into science fiction or super cheesy romance) and autobiographies.

Favorite Television

I am a reality TV junkie such as Survivor, Biggest Looser, Big Brother, Top Chef...etc, but also like watching sports, the CSI and Law and Order varieties, Grey's Anatomy, Sordid Lives, Discovery, National Geographic, HGTV

WishList

I would love to receive: materials to scrapbook with, stickers, stationary, books, chocolate or any candy, coffee, different papers, CDs, bookmarks, magnets, toys or treats for my dogs, lip gloss or chapsticks, fun pens, pencils or any office supplies, any theatre related items, letters, anything related to the St. Louis Cardinals, jewelry, postage stamps (used or unused), different socks, any kind of homemade crafts, simple & healthy recipes to try out.... I just starting making ATCs; so anything to help with that such as rubber stamps, stamp pads, glitter, glitter pens, paper scraps, fabric scraps, embelishments, clip art, etc...

You have no idea of how helpful the Albee book is, and at how perfect a time it came: I'm in a directing class and expected to direct a short play soon, but I don't know where to start looking. I don't know if either will be short enough (I'll have to talk to my professor) but at least I have somewhere to start =D
