My favorite Farmer's Wife blocks so far would have to be Daffodil and Lilly. Flowers remind me of my mother who passed away from Alzheimers. My favorite colors are blue and green. I love Moda fabric. I tend to like more modern fabric than retro fabric. I also like solids. I love making baby quilts for all of the newborns in our family. I pretty much sew every day, if possible. I am a mother of 4 grown children. Just one left in the house finishing up college. I would love anything I could use to decorate my sewing room. I have a corner of the basement with my sewing machine and a long arm machine. I love summer and going to the beach. I also enjoy hiking, but nothing too strenuous, lol. I also like taking long walks with my shit zsu. I enjoy cooking healthy meals for my family. I hope this give you ideas.

I have been really into country music lately like Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, but I also have always loved Bruce Springsteen and enjoy classic rock from time to time.

Not really into TV lately. My husband and I will watch Modern Family (see many resemblances to my own family) and some shows that run on HBO and Showtime.

I have always enjoyed crafts. I started sewing as a young girl and later started quilting when my younger sister taught me some basics. I have been quilting for probably 20 years now. I usually have four or five projects going at the same time and once in a while I do a real push to finish some of my UFO's.

My husband and I enjoy traveling. We usually try to get to one of the Caribbean Islands every year and also travel to visit our children, one that lives in Colorado and another that lives in California.
