Hey, Alex. I've definitely seen your profile multiple times. :P I really like your blog. It's really unfortunate that you're allergic to so much stuff. I hope things have gotten somewhat better for you. :x
I like your idea for a Cabinet of Curiosities. I love collecting tiny vials and bottles. And I really like the work you're doing for the nonprofit!
I'm a big fan of Japanese culture as well. I want to go there one day, but am afraid that it would be really hard to get around without knowing the language. A classmate of mind just came back from a semester there and loved it. She said the karaoke was amazing! Have you ever been?
Never been outside the US...er...OK I've been to Canada but I'm so close to it, that doesn't count! So no, never seen a used panty vending machine in Japan, but a spoiled friend of mine goes to Japan every year, and I keep telling her to be on the lookout. She hasn't seen one yet. Maybe this time she'll get lucky! Condom vending machines don't sound pleasant either. XD
Hi! Sounds like your life got like mine around the holidays. I took a break from SB and family and ran off to hide with some friends for a few weeks. After the holidays, I went back home and packed up to go back to Santa Cruz for the semester (crap classes where I was living, good classes in S.C.), so now I'm staying with a friend and buried in a pile of homework.
But I'm finally caught up on things and settled in, and starting to swap again. I missed it! Life is still crazy, but manageable. I really need to find a job soon, but my health is still a barrier, so same ol' story for me I guess. Tell me about maybe touring!! Exciting!
haha 49 queers, sounds like fun! yes the beach is cool. i was there in december/january and it was so cool to sit on the beach at night, drink coffee and the weather was so warm and i knew in germany its snowing. i think you had have seen more in tel aviv, because you had a guide or something. but sounds like fun!
I love Japan, and anything to do with Japan, especially the language! It's so beautiful. OK, maybe I don't love everything about Japan. Can't say I'm into used panties vending machines! Moving on...
Your 'I Eat Snacks' blog is a fun read! You're a brave soul, trying those creepy cherry candies. It's a miracle you survived! Urgh! >.<
Oh, before I forget, here's something neat on Flickr I thought you might enjoy looking at.
Hopefully I've learned how to do links in markdown properly...
I read your profile before, but I took a deeper look, and checked out your links this time (wish you had pics of your swaps though--I'd love to see your work!).
You're a fun, awesome person!

oh happy belated birthday :) yes, jerusalem is crazy. i had not enough time to see everything. have to go to jerusalem in the future again. i did not like tel aviv. maybe i am not a party girl. i liked jaffa and the old port, but tel aviv is really ugly, the architecture has no interesting history for me.

Hi Alex!
It's cool you're studying foreign languages.
