I'm a 50 year old, have a wonderful hubby, 2 kids and 2 sweet big pound dogs. I live in Texas but grew up in the mountains in Northern New Mexico. I love cabins, trees, nature, flowers. I work at our local high school and have off a few weeks in the summer. I mostly work with papercrafts, especially collage. I love Starbucks and Barnes-n-Noble. I enjoy hearing about other's cultures and recipes.

I like to make collaged artwork, travelers notebooks or junk journals, bookmarks, pocket letters, themed stuffed envelopes, flipbooks, bookmarks. I like vintage, musty, beautiful things to craft with like old hankies, bus tickets, old envelopes, letters, ledger paper, onion skin typing paper, old postage stamps, black and white photos and really any ephemera. I like paper crafts, glittery sparkly anything, stickers, die cuts, enamel dots, Maggie Holmes, painted backgrounds, washi samples, Tm Holtz ephemera. I like bright, sunny colors too to throw in the mix here and there! oh yeah and sequin mixes :)

I LOVE to read...that is my hobby besides crafts. I always have at least 5 or 6 books on hand to read and when I get low, I start panicking and head to the library. I collect old children's books, poetry, small stories. My favorite types of books are historical romance, murder mysteries and biographies of famous stars.

I'm not that crazy with cutesy stuff like Disney, or Kawaii stuff. I don't need ribbon, plain cardstock, event brochures, business cards from local stuff, alpha stickers, post it notes, magazine clippings (unless pre-50's or another language). I already have so much of this stuff, lol!
