Will be taking a break soon. Going camping with some friends in CANADA. I can't wait. Going to be lots of fun. Then on a road trip with some friends for two to three weeks all over the place.

I have a NEW address now, so the temp suspension should be taken away soon. That is wwhy I was temporaily suspended. I cannot do my current swaps til then so please bear with me. Some try to cause me problems as we have all been there some time another with folks on here.

I NEED TO REQUEST THAT WHEN COORDINATOR OF WHATEVER SWAP I AM IN IF THEY CAN TRY NOT TO PARTNER ME UP WITH SOMEONE THAT HAS A LONG LIST OF DISLIKES. THIS IS TOO CHALLENGING FOR ME WITH MY BRAIN TUMOR AND ALL. THANK YOU.

The List of Five Swap took alot of time and thinking and I personally think all should have rec'd a heart. I do check back on my ratings when I rate also.

I walked 32 laps Saturday in the Cancer Relay 4 Life and am extremely sore, and hurting something fierce. Plus, after sleeping all day and night yesterday, I woke up feeling like I am suffering from a stroke on my right side now. I had one on my left over a month ago, but with the symptoms I am having it is more than likely another stroke. If I am late on swaps. PLEASE bear with me. It is not like me to send out late swaps and I am difinitely NOT a FLAKER. Thank you and God Bless.

I AM ONE THAT GIVES PEOPLE TIME TO EXPLAIN. I DO NOT JUMP TO THE GUN. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE, JUST PM ME AND LET ME KNOW WHY. I HAVE SEVERAL THAT ARE CURRENTLY LATE AND A FEW THAT NEVER DID SEND TO ME AT ALL. I have been disappointed w/some I have recieved but did not make a big deal about it. I pm'd them to see how things were going, found out it was not good and they made up for it later. Blowing up on people, making false accusations is not the way to go...Patience is a virtue.

April 16 - went to my survivors breakfast at the Hampton Inn in Barstow this morning. It was wonderful.. Happy Birthday to all the survivors...

I Really like getting anything from other countries. I am 49yrs old. I have a 29yr old single son, a 24yr daughter with a 6yr old and 3 mth old girl and her husband is serving in the U.S. Marines. He has been to Iraq twice and has been injured. So if you would like to send a note or anything in you would like me to pass on to him that would be great also. I was born in Oklahoma and have/had two brothers and one sister and two step brothers and two step sisters. My one sister died as a baby from SIDS before I was born so when I was born my parents gave me the name Joy because they said it was such a Joy to them that I was a girl to replace the one they'd lost. I lost my middle brother Kent whom served in the Navy on the USS Ranger a few years ago (which still to this day tears me apart) . This is why I like anything w/Navy stuff. Then I lost one of my step sisters to Hodgekins Disease. I went straight to College out of High School. And ended up going to a University recieving straight A's. Majored in Legal, Minor psychology. Have worked at a large chemical plant called Kerr Mc Gee Chemical Corp as a Relief Security Supervisor. In that job I was trained to be a: Emergency Med Tech, Firefighter,weighmaster, switchboard operater,emergency dispatcher for plant and county as was with the others per required w/job and other requirements. I really loved that job.
Worked as a Correctional Officer but did not care for that position because there are too many corrupt officers and I am an honest person. Worked as a Park Ranger, Care Giver, etc...

Enjoy going Camping, fishing, hiking, boating, miniture golfing, bicycling, exercising, etc...

Things I collect are Angels, key chains, bracelets, hearts, dolphins, marine and navy items (a plus), boats...water scene items, pot holders, dish clothes, crocheted items, ankle socks, dream catchers, hypo allergenic earrings danty ones can't wear heavy bulky ones, hair decorations for short hair, candles (not rose scented thou), car freshners..

Colors I like are baby blue, pink, pastel green. I also like the colors red, yellow and white together.

Do not wear foundations of anykind. Do like lavendar, vanilla, scents, just not any roses...

Flowers I love Carnations

Perfumes I like Nautica, and mild scents (No rose scents)

I would like items of old police/corrections/rangers/etc badges that no one wants or needs. I collect them also for a project I am working on.

I have to wear hypo-allergenic jewelry.

Like caps, unique headgear that is not bulky, and scarfs

Always enjoy getting creams that are good for your face and body. Same with Teas and Coffee caffeinated.

Love to get flashlights that are unique and represent other countries along with playing cards, pens, etc....

Enjoy listening to Country Western and mellow music and love songs...Don't care for Rap

Books I like to read are non fiction about families or people, Educational ones, Love ones (not Harliquin)

Favorite Movies are Hiway to Heaven, Dirty Dancing, Green Mile, Remember the Titans, Christmas movies, Family movies,comedy, Love, Kids

T.V. I like to watch House, C.S. I., Fairly Legal, Horse Whisperer, Little House on the Prairie, Ghost Hunters, etc...

Crafts I enjoy doing are:felt paint and or color by number (a plus) w/ wild animals/ocean scenes/forsest scenes/light houses, stain glass, homemade cards, letter paper and note paper, jewelry...

I love to help people, have an open heart/mind/ and soul...like to learn about other countries Religions...

Make-up: Black mascara or if you can find midnight blue that would be totally awesome stick eyeliners any colors, light colored shadows, lip stuff-light browns/pinks/cream colors just not dark ones please I like glitter make up also...

Dish cloths of any type Pot holders any type hair decorations any type necklaces/earrings/bracelets - hypo allergenic please oh I have pierced ears stationary and note paper note pads ankle socks anything pink that is unusual from another country journal cards store bought recipe cards (swaps are requiring store bought) stickers fat quarters for quilting does not matter what vegetarian cookbooks and or recipes newspaper comedy or small articles from other countries as many as possible C.D.s with music from other countries Any ideas of any type of parties- childrens, adults (no nasty, holidays... Pictures of ideas of fixing hair

I love gummy candy sweet and or sour Truffles not picky am diabetic but you can send anything because I do control it and watch and eat goodies carefully. Yes I must have real sugar items oops on me...but I do eat the sugar free ones also

The Boy you just called stupid? Has a learning disability & studies over 4hrs a night. The Girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. Bath salts, lotions, air freshners, candles, socks I wear size 8 shoe (prefer ankle high), do like trouser socks, any type of purses, sunglasses (mine keep breaking), lip balms, hair care items like oil treatments etc, face masks, face scrubs, pencil eyeliners and black or midnight blue mascara. Can't find the midnight blue anywhere and I would love to get some midnight blue mascara. Eye brow pencils for light to medium brown, lip sticks any color, eyeshadows any colors, nail care items, skin care items.

I love you. I need you in my life. If you can't think of any purpose at all for being here, think of that one. Without you, my life would be that much emptier, and I'm not the only one who feels that way. We're not put here to necessarily make big, sweeping changes to society. Not everyone can find the cure to cancer or pull children from burning buildings or save the world from terrorism. We're here to make a difference in any way we can, even if it's just what seems like a small way. Every person you've made smile in your life, every person you've hugged, every person you've given encouraging words to realizes your importance. You've made a difference in the lives of those people, even if you never see them again. You've made an imprint, and the day you leave this world is the day that someone's heart breaks, mine at the very least. @Gayle
