I started doing mail-art and swaps in 2008, mainly black pen and color marker ATCs until I joined Swap-bot 3 1/2 years ago and ventured into other forms of mail-art (postcards, zines) and other sorts of image types, like multi-media, rubber stamping, and collage. Here is a list of some of the kinds of art I make:

DRAWING - black pens like Micron, black brush pen, color markers, colored pencils

ABSTRACT - most of my work is abstract. Wikipedia says "Abstract art uses a visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world." I love geometric abstract most of all.

CONSTRUCTIONS - (cardstock or thin cardboard) of geometric solids, boxes, small chests-of-drawers, etc.

STAMP CARVING - I love making my own stamps. I started doing it because I can't afford to buy them, and I now have a very large collection which grows every month. I need to seriously think about stamp storage other than tossing them in a plastic bin.

PAPER COLLAGE - I love paper collage! I collect and use images, words and phrases, textures, color, and all kinds of bits from junk mail, magazines and books.

ZINES/SMALL BOOKS - I don't do as much of this as I would like, but I could get serious about it and do more.

QUILLING (paper rolling) - Sometimes . . . .

PAINTING - acrylic, watercolor, gouache . . . not as much as I'd like to do

DIGITAL/COMPUTER - some digital collage, computer art, page design, etc.

• ALL COLOR - bold colors - pale colors - muted colors - ANY AND ALL colors in the right time and place. My favorites include deep cobalt blue, shades of teal and turquois, and deep rich purple.
• Abstract art, Watercolors, Retro Space and Sci-Fi, Retro/Vintage mid-century-modern graphic design, fabric, decor, especially Atomic, Space, Googie, Kitsch
• Quiet and being alone - just me and the sounds of life in the house and neighborhood.
• Study of awareness, consciousness, existence, mindfulness, dreaming, lucid dreaming, day dreaming, mystical, mythical, esoteric, Spirit
• Internet surfing, image collecting, YouTube, curious minds want to know, information junkie

ALL that is mean, horrifying, misogynistic, insensitive, thoughtless, narrow minded, bigoted, maliciously deceptive, and grotesque (notwithstanding Equisite Corpse).
