I like mysteries, I am a reader of Louise Penny's Inspector Gamache series. …Amazon Prime did a series based on the book called Three Pines.
I get most of the books for my to-be-read list from the podcast What Should I Read Next. If you haven't listened to this podcast I would highly recommend it, it is lots of fun.
Books I've read and enjoyed (that I can think of right now): Jayber Crow by Wendell Berry; Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann; Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel; The Dry by Jane Harper; We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson; The Library Book by Susan Orlean Trejo, a memoir by Danny Trejo
My very favorites are:
Amadeus
Groundhog Day
Overboard (the one with Goldie Hawn)
Let The Right One In (I don't normally enjoy "horror" movies, but this Swedish film is sooo good! If you've seen it I would love to hear your thoughts!!)
My Favorite TV Shows:
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
What We Do in the Shadows
Peaky Blinders
The Office
MASH
Halloween: my favorite decor/style is vintage/mid century. I love black cats and witches. I am that person that loves pumpkin flavored everything. I am not super into horror or gore, but if that's your things I am interested to see how you craft it...I'm not totally put off by it.
Thanksgiving: I simply love Thanksgiving and the entire Fall season. My husband was born just two days before me and we got married on that day in between...Fall is definitely OUR season. It's such a cozy time, everything slows down a bit after summer and we have time to reflect and practice gratitude.
Christmas: my favorite decor/style for Christmas is mid century vintage, although anything Christmas makes me happy. I love red and green, but also non-traditional Christmas colors like pink and silver, teal and tomato red, or whatever you might combine!

Put a little Pumpkin spice in your life
I got my first mail for Happy Mail all Month yesterday! Thak you. We do definitely have a lot in common. What an exciting elector your daughter to have as her first! I just finished Radicals and Roses by Susan Zimet about women's suffrage. I am not a big non-ficton person, so I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging it was.
Happy Halloween!
Have a fun and safe Halloween!
