My name is Karen and I am based in Maidenhead in the UK. I am Mum to Abbie (15) and Callum (13). By day I work as a self employed surveyor and a Computer aided design operator and by night I sew and make gifts in felt.
I sell my felt items in craft shops locally.
I love anything to do with sewing and papercrafts
I love spots and stripes and my favourite colours are red and pink.
I love ribbons, buttons, sewing thread and anything to do with cardmaking, any fabrics and fleece, and felt. I love funky designs.
We have one cat called Smudge
I love travelling and we have visited a lot of the USA, with and without children. We have been to New York, New England, Washington, Florida, and toured Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, California, Canda and Texas. We also love cottage holidays in England.
I keep fit by running with a couple of friends a couple of days a week.
I love Eastenders, Law and Order, NCIS, CSI are a few of my many television favourites.
I love drinking English tea and hot chocolate
I love liquorice and chocolate, and Floral Gum, Milk bottle sweets, and gummy sweets.
I don't like anything tasting of coffee and I don't like currys.
I love receiving handmade items. Any fabric scraps, Embroidery floss, funky ribbons and buttons of all shapes and sizes.
My daughter loves anything to do with Pigs
My son loves hot wheel cars, Football (English) anything to do with fire service. I

Thank you so much again for the awesome package! In response to your note, that's wonderful that you visited Ontario but wow, what a time to visit this part of the world on 9/11! Crossing the border must have been a pain with the heightened security (if you had to go back across!) I think it was good luck that you happened to cross before 9/11 happened! Did you get to see Niagara Falls? It is amazing to live so close to something so beautiful! Anyway, thanks again and have a great day!
