I am 40 years old.

I just recently started quilting and I am loving it. My sister kept telling me I would and I have resisted sewing for most of my life. Now I am hooked.

I have just become a roller derby fan. I love it. I went to a bout a few months ago and am now constantly on the watch for a local bout. I loive the Derby City Roller Girls. I am collecting stickers of teams around the country- so if your a fan too, I would love to receive a sticker of your favorite team.

I like a lot of unusual stuff. I like vintage stuff from the 30's thru the 80's (OMG are the 80's vintage now). I have really been enjoying post card swaps.

I have a beagle dog (who is way fat!! But less fat now since she lost 6lbs). I am also starting to become a crazy cat lady (I have 3).

I am all about recycling things to make something new and useful.

I have a wicked sense of humor and I am not easily offended (except by racial slurs).

I love all things mystery.

I hate romances.

You can only describe sex so many ways, but you sure can kill people in creative ways!!!!!

I really like cozy mysteries and funny, female sluths.

I am a knitter of sorts.

I mostly only knit scarves because I don't have the patience to count stitches. Plus a scarf only takes a skein or two of yarn so its great to be able to use alot of different colors and styles so I don't get bored.

But I sometimes try other simple projects like purses and hats.

I love all things yarn though.

I am always on the look out for some unusual color or texture in the local yarn bin.

I also really love felted items and interesting accents like buttons to use with my knitting crafts.

I recently tried Jarritos soft drinks from Mexico and they are the BOMB.

I like to try locally made foods from different regions of the country.

I really like to try foods from other countries as well.

I always hit the snack aisle at the local Whole Foods to see what is interesting that day.
