I joined this site because I love seeing other people's artwork. I love seeing how people can take the same thing and come to wildly different conclusions. My favorite crafty styles are vintage type things, but I love artwork inspired by a variety of styles: punk/street/body art, classical painting styles, Asian and Indian artwork, gothic art...pretty much anything with an interesting design will catch my eye. I am always really drawn to images with really strong contrast lighting as well. I go through phases with color. I am currently moving from turquoise to purple and mustard-y yellow. Although I think that any color (even pink, of which I am not a big fan) can look good in the right project or combination of colors. I'm obsessed with plaid, and am currently having a fling with argyle.

Although I have preferences, I don't want to limit anyone in their artistic visions. Please do not go through and change something that you've created based on what I've written!

Lastly, I was inspired to start a blog/etsy store based on a swap from here. They're still pretty new, but I figure that other swappers might be interested in them. The links are above :)

I can listen to just about anything. My tastes change quite often, and range from Elvis to Reel Big Fish, Glenn Miller to Rancid, George Thorogood to Brand New. I do admit to indulging in some really bad pop music when it makes me want to dance, kind of like Lady GaGa and Ke$ha currently, but I tend to stay away from most of the stuff put out on pop stations.
