I am happy to do private swaps with anyone - particularly if you can make amigurumis!

I can't knit or sew to save myself, but I am more than happy to swap you some ATCs, scrapbook pages, handmade cards/postcards, personalised ATC backs, I can digitally enhance/alter photos (I will be uploading samples to my flikr page soon). Please send me a message and we can arrange something :o)

I'll listen to pretty much anything - from heavy metal to tai chi music (honestly!) In my heart I'm a 90's rock girl though (whitesnake, bon jovi and the like) - currently loving The Black Keys

(Pretty much everything on the sci-fi channel) House, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer, Reaper, Supernatural, Buffy the vanpire slayer, Angel, all the stargates, all the star treks, the new Dr Who (not Torchwood though!) Guilty TV faves: Sex and the city (don't ask me why - it is the furtherest thing from my life - but I loved it!), Glee, Project runway, the Discovery Travel channel and the lifestyle channel (love antiques roadshow LOL!) (update - new faves to add - True Blood, Game of Thrones, Camelot, The Event and The Killing)

I like books that let you escape everyday life, so I'm not big on scary horrors or tear jerkers. Give me fantasy any day (The Magician series, anything by David Eddings!) I am also a big fan of Jane Austen.

I love Christmas - the only time of the year I won't complain about getting up early!!

I go through fads with what I like. At the moment I love zentangles (especially ones drawn into animal shapes). I love to scrapbook, I find my own style is simple and a little quirky but I admire the over the top loaded with embellishment pages too. Flowers are always nice. I like asian themed things as well. I love travel and cooking too!

I'm a wannabe collector of vintage things - I love the antiques roadshow, bargain hunt and other collector type shows. I like to dawdle around markets and find little treasures to list on ebay It's fun to see if I have a good eye for collectables or not. The things I am drawn to are vintage compacts and vanity sets. Old kitchen ware (love bakelite plastics - even bakelite jewellry), old tins and old books.

previously I said nothing - I now have one little pet peeve. ATCs with just a sticker on it - it's just plain daggy and shows no effort or thought (sorry if that sounds mean!) I'm not an ATC snob - I just want to see that more than 2 minutes work has gone into making the thing!

on a lighter note I am not a fan of these things (but not so much that I would rate down!):

• Cats
• Pink (the colour, not the artist)
• Mice and rats (seriously - eeww)
• Coconut or mushrooms (the actual food - I kinda like mushroom pictures/graphics)
• farm/barnyard style craft things.

I think that's it.....

DaVinci (love renaissance art), Art Deco, Classic and modern asian styles (eg kimonos to kawaii and anime), maneki nekus, classic disneyana, 50's and 60's pop art, minimalism and way to the other extreme really over the top stuff.

My nieces

I'm not a mum, but I am a devoted Auntie (Auntie Lisey!) to two beautiful girls Molly and Amelia (Molly & Milly). If you feel like sending me something extra you could send something for Molly & Milly instead (I'm happy with the swap itself!) Molly is 14 years old and is a real sporty girl, very active and loves animals (I wouldn't be suprised if she grows up to be a vet). Milly is 10 and is very creative, she likes to dress herself (very stubborn) and will often wear stripey tights a tutu and sneakers - she's cute enough to make it work LOL! Milly loves crafts like making friendship bracelets.

Please don't feel like you have to send them anything - this is just in case you want to send something extra and are stumped for ideas :o)

I plan on doing more private swaps - I like the idea of trading one thing for something entirely different. Here is a list of things that I would be delighted to receive:

• a good quality coloured marker set
• small kawaii items
• amigurumi's! little woodland creatures especially (but any amigurumi would be treasured!)
• I love handmade items, especially sewn or knitted because I can't do either!
• Vintage postcards or pictures
• Disney pins (I have a pretty big collection of these!)
• shabby chic style scrapbooking embellishments
• Touristy things from your area, like caps, fridge magnets etc
• Note-pads, note cards (kawaii or something fancy)
• Pins and badges (anything sci-fi related would be cool)
